I started getting into K-pop over the past years (thanks to Stryfe, Running Man, Twice and Blackpink).
Since I also have a rich history with AKB48, this show came at the perfect time for me.
To make the most of it, I figured I'd write down some of my initial thoughts to get to know all the girls. Plus it might be fun to reflect on them later.
Stryfe posted his pre-show top 12, which I think is a fun idea. Making this list is part of my process to narrow it down.
I'll be sure to make a proper top 12 post later this week. I don't expect anyone to read the list down below. XD
Finally, Produce 101 China has thought me to be brutally honest, so I hope some of these comments aren't too harsh, haha.
I based this mostly on their introduction video's and random footage from here and there.
Korean contestants:
Hong Yeji
- Not my type
- Looks older than 17 years old
- Good vocals!
Kim Yubin
- Nope.
Kim Dayeon
- Not sure if comic relief character
- Dancing skills are on point!
Cho Kahyun
- Annoying voice
- Kinda annoying in general
Ahn Yewon
- Pretty cute!
- Pineapple outfit makes her look like a J-pop girl
Lee Yujeong
- Born to be an idol
- Might be too young / unexperienced
- Mad cute
Choi Yeonsoo
- Deep voiced sexy chara
- Lacks a bit of enthusiasm
Yoon Eunbin
- Reversal charm might actually work
- Kinda cute with dancing skills
- Potential here for sure
Han Chowon
- Horrible introduction video
- Seems to lack dilligence
Park Jinny
- Hot as hell
- If she was in the running to become a Black Pink member, that says a lot about her skills.
Park Seoyoung
- Don't throw scissors on a wooden floor!
- She's trying way too hard to look sexy
- I don't like her face
Jang Wonyoung
- I like her enunciation
- Her intro felt too unnatural
An Yujin
- She's not as cute as she thinks she is
Cho Sarang
- She can sing, but she chose the wrong song to dance to
- Poor choice of outfit either
Son Eunchae
- She gives me Suda Akari vibes a little bit
- Dancing skills are good too
Kang Damin
- Gotta love the annoyingly bubbly maknae chara
Hwang Soyeon
- She has a wonky right eye, which can either be a charm point or distracting
- Might be some potential here, but I'm not convinced yet
Jo Ahyoung
- Airplane themed idols are done. Just ask Passpo.
- Luckily her bag is already packed
Park Haeyoon
- I don't like this style of vocals at all
- Ukeleles need to go away as well, I'm surrounded by them everyday
Lee Haeun
- She probably has a decent set of skills
- But she doesn't stand out, because her face is too generic
Kim Dahye
- Ooh, a Japanese x Korean halfie
- She looks confident, which results in a nice mix of cute and sexy
Kim Nayeong
- So annoying! But not in the cute way like Kang Damin.
Park Jieun
- Voice is too hoarse and deep for this kind of chara
- She looks a bit old and tired already
Na Goeun
- Not my type at all, reminds me of Noro Kayo a bit
- Vocals seem pretty good tho
Kim Minju
- Gotta need a wacky chara for sure
- It can go either way with this one
Lee Sian
- Way to not hit the nail on the head
- What a strange introduction video
- I like her outfit tho
Bae Eunyoung
- Nope.
Jo Yuri
- There is a lot to like here!
Jang Gyuri
- She seems fun
- Wish she had chosen a normal outfit tho
Yu Minyoung
- Distracting eyebrows
- Rap not that convicing

- I think this is the kind of girl who would do well in a show like this

- Try hard with a vengeance
- She looks pretty badass

- Army concept won't appeal to the Japanese fans
- Nor to me
Park Chanju
- She seems genuine, I'll keep an eye on her

- Pass.
Shin Suhyun
- No X-factor as of yet
Kim Choyeon
- Not my type at all
Kim Doa
- Cute hair and outfit
- Vocals and dancing are a bit iffy
Won Seoyeon
- She looks like the short-haired one in Twice
- I don't like her look
Lee Seunghyun
- Bonus points for 171 cm length
Lee Chaeyeon
- Another one with the doctor concept, but not as good
- Facial expressions look weird during her dancing
Chou Youngin
- Not bad, but not wow either
Yoon Haesol
- Very eloquent, lots of potential
- I kept expecting that jacket to come off
Choi Soeun
- This girl is pretty awesome
- A cute rapper is always good to have in a group
Go Yujin
- She looks good, another sexy chara
Kang Hyewon
- First (only) K-girl to pick a Japanese song
- Definitely potential here
Kwon Eunbi
- She feels like a veteran who didn't quite make it earlier
Kim Sohee
- She brings a smile to your face
- I hope she'll do well
Kim Suyun
- I think a gimmick like Suyun Energy will work well with the J-pop crowd

- What an angel
Heo Yunjin
- Nope.

- She's really pretty
- If she sings the way she talks we're in for a treat
Japanese contestants:
Hasegawa Rena
- Feels to forced
- I'm not into baseball
Yamada Noe
- She can be really entertaining, but she has no business being here
- I'm saying that for her own sake, there's gonna be tears
Kurihara Sae
- The intro video was forgettable
- I know Sae has a great body, so hopefully she can show it off a bit
Motomura Aoi
- I think this may be right up her alley, plus it came at the right time
- Cute crybaby, who is becoming more and more mature
Matsuoka Natsumi
- I never particularly cared for her and I still don't
Asai Yuka
- No idea who this is, but she's pretty cute
- She didn't showcase any skill whatsoever
Aramaki Misaki
- I already feel for her
- She's a delicate flower, who is gonna get crushed somewhere along the way
- She should've focused on her Fairy Wing momentum
Imada Mina
- She's lacking in the visual department
Tanaka Miku
- Like Aoi, I feel Miku is a great fit for this project
Yabuki Nako
- NakoMiku have been a pair since day one, so it'll be interesting to see if they'll stick together or go their own way
- I hope Nako has enough confidence
Murakawa Bibian
- Bit of a nutcase
- Horrible outfit for someone who loves clothing
- I don't think she's right for this project, typical J-pop girl
Miyawaki Sakura
- She was a beacon of hope in the dark ages of 48G after Maeda Atsuko left
- Destined for greatness, born to be an idol.
Matsui Jurina
- I've know Jurina since she was 11 years old in 2008
- She used to be fresh, fun and amazing
- But lately she's turned into a caricature of herself
- She's become so obsessed with becoming #1 that she lost all her charms
Naiki Kokoro
- She looks terrified
Murase Sae
- She looks completely different from what I remember
- She seems good with Korean, but otherwise I'm not impressed
Kato Yuuka
- Uuka is fresh and cute, fun to watch
- But I don't see her in a K-pop group
Shiroma Miru
- I guess people like her for her baby face and good body
- But personally I always thought of her as Milky light
- I don't think her intro video captured her selling points at all
- She should have gone sexy, because many of these girls do cute better than her
- That said, I think she has a decent shot of getting pretty far
Ichikawa Manami
- She has so much potential, but this video was really bad
- I think she lacks confidence and that's why nobody is gonna notice her
Shitao Miu
- Someone else had this exact same concept...
- Yukata looks nice
Shinozaki Ayana
- A third calligraphy video
- And yet another sexy chara who tries to be cute
- Her main appeal point are her boobs right? Is that gonna help her in Korea?
Sato Minami
- Hey, this girl is in one of my Bomb magazines
- Vocals are really bad
- Otherwise fresh, but that's not gonna be enough if you go up against NakoMiku

- We know she's great at dancing
- I think she will do very well if she can keep her emotions together''
Mogi Shinobu
- She looks pretty good in her introduction video
- She doesn't stand out in 48G, so I fera it'll be the same here

- As a fan of the Toyota Celica, Serika will always have my support
Takeuchi Miyu
- I don't like the way she sings
- I don't like the way she looks

- This girl is awesome
- She has guts and she is funny
- No idea if she can sing or dance tho

- Hasn't been funny in a long time

- Not familiar with her, but I feel she could do well

- We all know she loves K-pop and has some friends in the industry
- Glad for her she can participate, but it should've come five years earlier

- Great, every group needs a girl with a short cut

- For a while it seemed like she'd become a huge star, but haven't seen her in ages
- I think she's better off in Japan. She's a good J-pop idol.

- She looks so fragile
- I'm not a fan of saxophones

- The timing is perfect for her
- One does not simply cover IU tho
- Perfect look, good attitude, she'll do well
Iwatate Saho
- Another one who I think is perfect for this
- She's great with languages, she'll pick up Korean in no time

- Nothing against her, but I have no idea why she's so popular

- She's in my top 5 of most disliked 48G members

I was a little disappointed in Team Japan on how mild many of them were on
the box game (where the contestant puts their hand in the box, but can’t see if
Is a bunch of grapes or a rattlesnake that they are handling....
But I really like the various formats that all of the applicants must perform a skill!

ok, finally watched episode 01 so let's pen down some thoughts and come up with an updated top 12!
Random thoughts:
- Man, there are a LOT of pretty girls participating.
- The difference in skill was even bigger than I had anticipated.
- I also didn't realize many of these Korean girls are famous to some extent already.
- Sting's 'Lee Kwang-soo' music playing every time Yamada Noe appears was just priceless.
- I'm probably outnumbered here, but I really disliked that Miyu / Saho / Goto performance.
- Also truly disappointed in Nakano Ikumi's performance. She's capable of so much more.
- Kang Hye Won, lmao. If I had a penny for every time a girl failed trying to cover IU...
- Mad props to the Produce editing team. It's so flawless and it adds the entertainment value.
- I felt the judges were spot on. I didn't think they were being unnecessarily mean or anything like that.

Thoughts:
- Woolim Entertainment is where it's at. All four of these girls are very likable and their performance was great to watch.
- Jang Won Young is mad cute. If she doesn't say or do anything stupid, I think she'll go far.
- Lee Kaeun is a tricky one, because I'm not sure I want someone that experienced in a group like this. That said, she's good and seems like a nice person.
- As much as I enjoy Chiba Erii and Asai Yuka, man, they have a looong way to go. They're not ready for this.
- Regarding Lee Chaeyeon, while I acknowledge her amazing dancing skills, she doesn't really grab me otherwise.
One other thing, I find it tricky to be neutral when it comes to evaluating the Japanese trainees.
They say they start from zero, but I've known most of these girls for many years.
Should I cast aside past experiences and start from zero as well?
Like, Matsui Jurina's performance of Dear J was lolworthy. It wasn't worthy of her status at all.
And Takahashi Juri actually comes across as a nice person, even tho I've seen her be the exact opposite on several occasions.
So yeah, in that sense I'm having trouble making my mind up about the Japanse girls.

Ep03 was a rollercoaster!
First, some thoughts about the updated ranks:
- Kang Damin went from B to A, yet they still barely mentioned her. Luckily she got plenty of time to shine being chosen for Nako's group.
- Nako from F to A! What a legend. She pwnd this episode. Top 12 material for sure.
- Motomura Aoi going from D to B. Steadily climbing the ranks. Good job.
- The two ex-YG girls are dropping like bricks. Jenny was barely in this episode, but she went from C to F. Her blonde friend went from C to D and made a pretty poor impression during the team challenge. I think they might have an attitude problem or something.
- Props to Asai Yuka climbing from F to D. Sadly, she ended up in the 'loser team' and I fear the worst for position. If anything, she definitely earned a place in my heart thanks to P48.
- Jang Gyu Ri from B to F seems like a method to generate some hype. She'll bounce back.
The team challenge en the backstage footage was interesting too. It showed a nice mix between companionship and rivaly. This is were the girls' true personality comes out.
- Yoon Eunbin really is cute. I didn't realize she was kinda tiny.
- Nako is some of genius for selecting the team she did.
- Saho going for the spotlight is good. She never got any of that in AKB48. However, what the other girls said is also correct; an AKB girl centering an AKB song is boring.
- Matsuoka Natsumi once again confirmed my image of her. You want to center, but refuse to try and sing the song? I have no kind words for this. Imada Mina didn't score any points either.

Let me use a different top 12 picks arrangement this time.
There are two girls who are locked in for me:
01. Jang Won Young
02. Kim Chaewon
They both are exactly what I'm looking for in an idol. I think Jang Won Young speaks for herself.
Everybody who say her perform must've seen she's a natural. Kim Chaewon seems to be doing good enough to make next week's cut, so that's great.
She hasn't gotten that much attention yet, but at least her Twice performance was excellent. Her voice suited the song perfectly, as did her appearance.
This week I also picked up a new favorite:
03. Jo Yuri
For some reason, she stands out. Star aura or whatever you want to call it. Her main attraction are her husky vocals.
Holy crap, this girl can sing. I went back to check the previous eps and yeah, this girl needs to be in the group. She seems like a lot of fun in general as well.
Then there are a couple of girls with their own unique charms:
04. Yabuki Nako
05. Lee Sian
06. Yoon Eunbin
Nako received the most votes for a reason. Her performance was excellent. She's made cute. A great idol.
Lee Sian actually reminds me of IU when it comes to her expressions. Remember when Park Ji-sung double crossed IU on Running Man? Sian pulled exactly that expression, haha.
Yoon Eunbin's gap moe is simply adorable. Cute little girl, who can dance like crazy.
Finally, I have a numbers of girls that can go either way. In no particular order:
- Park Jinny: I dropped her a bit last week, but seeing her again I can't deny that I like her a lot.
- Choi Soeun: She failed to make a name for herself this episode, but she still looked good. Her biggest enemy at the moment is time. I know she has the potential.
- Choi Yena: She can be quirky and fun, but I'm not convinced I'd want her in the group.
- Kang Hye Won: She's a bit strange. She can't really sing or dance that well, but she's fun to watch and super pretty.
That leaves the two aces.
- Lee Kaeun
- Miyawaki Sakura
But man, I honestly don't know where to place these two anymore. Lee Kaeun speaks both languages, she has tons of experience and is obviously very skilled.
She would be an asset to the group. However, remember when AKB48 had that 37 year old member? That's who Lee Kaeun looked like this episode.
And Sakura... Can this group have their own identity and style is Sakura is included? Isn't she too famous?
So for me it's the six girls I mentioned, plus Jinny. Let's see who'll make the cut next week!

Let's see what we have now that the dust has settled.
First, a quick look at some of my favorites who didn't make the cut.
- Ikumi Nakano: Such bad luck to end up at #59. To be honest, I've been quite disappointed with her performance.
We know for a fact that she is a great dancer, but she completely failed to show it.
They even portrait her as a bad dancer, since she's lacking some basic techniques apparently. So yeah, not sure what happened here.
- Kang Damin: Going out with an A-rank must hurt. There is a lot of competition in the 'cute maknae' category and I guess she drew the short straw.
- Yoon Eunbin: Very sad to see her go. She has a unique vibe, which I guess didn't appeal to enough people.
Amazing dancer, very cute. I hope she'll keep at it, because I want to see her again in the future.
- Park Jinny: She said it herself on Instagram; nothing she did got aired. She blew me away with her charisma from the first second of her introduction video.
Her eyes so are so pretty, she's like a fox. This is the second major setback in her trainee years, so I'm not sure what'll happen to her now.
- Yuka Asai: Mad cute. Her peers (Sato Minami, Chiba Erii) upstaged her.
I'm really glad I got to learn about her existance through this show. Let's hope her experiences ghere will benefit her in SKE48.
- Ahn Yewon: I really like this type of girl. We've had similar types in AKB48 (Suzuki Shihori comes to mind), but they always do poorly in popularity rankings.
- Choi Soeun: She ranked pretty much last (89 out of 92) and that just blows my mind. Did you guys see her introduction video?
She was energetic, eloquent, funny, good rapper. Like Jinny, they barely showed her. The segments that did air weren't that good unfortunately.

Now let's take a look at the girls who did make it and update the roster to 12 again with some new names!
:up 01. Kim Chaewon: She actually got a lot of really good expoure this episode. She even got voted in the top 7 visual centers by the other members. She's back as my number one as well.
:down 02. Jang Won Young: I don't really have to explain anymore, I think everybody sees her charm.
:same 03. Jo Yuri: She's entertaining and has an amazing voice.
:same 04. Yabuki Nako: Born to be an idol. Glad her charms made it across the Japanese border.
:same 05. Lee Sian: I like her look and serious attitude.
:new 06. Kang Hye Won: She's a bit of an underdog. Not that great at anything, but you can't not look at her when she's on stage.
:new 07. Choi Yena: Like Jo Yuri, she's just a pleasure to watch. Very entertaining.
:new 08. Kim Hyunah: With Jinny gone, I need to feast my eyes on someone else, haha. Great performer for sure.
:new 09. Wang Yiren: Like the trainees mentioned, she's simply very pretty. Her gracefulness really gives her an edge over the others.
:new 10. Goto Moe: To be honest, I fear they are building her up a little too much. She's can't sing nor dance that well. I hope she won't crack under the pressure. That said, she is charming and I think she'll become a valuable member in the group.
:new 11. Lee Chaeyeon: I didn't really like her at first, but this episode showed a different side of her. She's already good, so I'm looking forward to seeing her develop even further.
:new 12. Kim Sohee: Not sure who to pick for this spot, but I have a weakness for the Woolim girls. Sohee, not sohee.

Ep06 review let's go!
- Na Goeun VS Jo Yuri: Both of these girl can sing very well, but to me Goeun's voice sounds very generic in the sense that it lacks character. On the contrary, every time Yuri opens her mouth I'm blow away. Plus her voice is easily identifiable, which is also an important factor.
- Kang Hye Won the rapper: Did she seriously not know she was supposed to write her own rap? If so, that's pretty bad. Otherwise it's a kinda sneaky way to appeal. Her frustration looked genuine, so I won't hold that against her. The rapping wasn't special, but damn she's beautiful.
- Han Cho Won: Her voice was really good during the performance. It has a tad more character than Goeun in my opinion. I actually know a girl who looks just like her, but I never got along well with her, haha. I know I aren't supposed to dislike Cho Won for it, but every time I see her I'm reminded of that.
- Lee Sian the center: She tends to have this blank expression a lot of the time, which I really like, haha. But honestly, given this team, picking her as the center was probably not the right thing to do. She did well, but yeah, I think this caused her more frustration than it was worth.
- Park Hae Yoon: In my initial evaluation post I wrote: "I don't like this style of vocals at all." I can't remember what she sang at the time, but boy was I wrong. This performance was so good, I actually got a little teary eyed. It's interesting, because I never noticed this girl before at all.
- Team Dance Aces: Usually when multiple talented people get together it becomes a mess. So props to Eunbi for constantly re-evaluating everything. Actually, props to Eunbi again for the actual performances as well, because she is the one who stood out to me the most.

Ok, let's write down some thoughts on the BEST EPISODE EVER! lol
Team New World
- Kim Chaewon got so much good screentime! Her story was interesting, she showed improvement on various aspects and she looked amazing throughout.
- The comment about her singing as a robot is interesting, because I feel she sings in the typical Woollim style I know from Lovelyz. Her performance was excellent.
- Nako giving the center position away worked well on two levels. It made her look good and I feel Huh Yunjin did a much better job.
- About Huh Yunjin, I really liked her performance, but somehow it lacked the emotion Park Haeyoon showed us last week.
- Erii's hype seems to have passed, but at least she provided us with some laughs again.
- The ranking for this group was INSANE. I felt there was a slim chance Chaewon could beat Nako, so that was already great. But then I was like "Why are they dragging out the battle for #1?". I can't believe Chaewon actually won it. Holy crap. I didn't know whether to scream, cry or laugh. So happy for her.
Team Aoi
- From the start, Kim Choyeon seemed to be fixated on the sexy concept, because apparently that's her thing. I think Aoi was spot on in saying to should be cheerful and genki to fit the song.
- Aoi did great, and she probably didn't deserve to ranked last. However! Honestly? She really was invisible to some extent. I blame her outfit. The dark green didn't stand out at all, especially in combination with her black hair. The others all had some color accent.
- My eyes were actually drawn to Mako most of the performance. She looked hot.
- I feel Sae's appeal with the butt shake was a bit cheap. Can't believe that worked.
- The one who truly was invisible was Muto. Nothing against her, but I didn't notice her at all.
Team BTS
- Kinda done with the Gyuri sob stories at this point tbh.
- Poor Saho, to be in a team with three people being good at Korean.
- Really happy for Myao. I mean, at one point in AKB48 she was destined to be the next Mayuyu, but then it all went downhill. It's cool she can showcase her love for Korea in such a way.
Team Leftovers
- When you look up 'woman' in the dictionary, you see a picture of Kim Hyuna.

- Kim Minju looks so much like Kang Hyewon. IIRC they came out after each other during the introduction episode as well.

- Park Seo Young has such a lousy attitude. I hate how she still outranked Bibian, despite not even knowing her own lyrics.
- Sakura looked a bit goofy, but she tried her best. But yeah, this doesn't suit her. She's not a badass, haha.

Ep08 was a rollercoaster!
First of all, a quick look at the girls we lost this round.
- We lost pretty much all the cute Japanese girls. Bibian, Aoi, Misaki, Erii, Minami, Noe, Nanami...
- We also lost several 48G veterans like Saho, Mako and Tomu.
- Out of my top 12, I think I only lost Kim Hyunah, which was expected.
- The worst thing for me this episode, was probably losing Ko Yu-jin. I was really looking forwards to her upcoming performance, which now will never happen.
When I opened Twitter by accident, I saw everybody tweeting about Takeuchi Miyu.
Based on the tone of the messages, I figured she didn't make the cut. I was surprised to see she actually did make it, albeit at the very last spot.
Personally I'm not particularly fond of Miyu on any level, so to see Ko Yu-jin leave instead of her was a tough pill to swallow.
Or, if Murae Sae hadn't robbed Shiroma Miru, then it also would've been fine. lol
Who do we have left?
- Kang Hye Won pwing like a boss, haha. After they announced Kim Min-ju, I actually thought she wasn't gonna make it. Sato Minami sob story was pretty sad.
- Good to see many of my favorites ranking up. Jo Yuri, Kim Chaewon, etc. all did well.
Yeah, not much to say otherwise. Everything is progressing pretty smoothly I'd say!

Produce 48 Ep09 random thoughts:
- The stuff they said about Lee Chaeyeon was really accurate. She can sing and dance well, but I don't find her that interesting otherwise. She needs to find her own charm.
- I'm surprised Wang Yiren did so poorly. From what I remember she always moved gracefully, but this episode she seemed like a wooden stick. Nerves, I guess.
- Kwon Eunbi is so tiny. I had no idea.
- There was a glimps of Kim Chaewon rapping, which was just mad cute. At 58:07.
- Na Gaeun doesn't seem to know the difference between singing and screaming. I massively disliked her performance.
- Jo Yuri just pwns as soon as she opens her mouth. Every single time.
- Lee Seung-gi x Lee Hong-gi random banter was hilarious.
- Kim Minju was good this episode. Very likable.
- Choi Yena nailed that rap part Eunbi was practicing, haha.
- Miyazaki Miho looks so old nowadays. With all due respect. Lol
- First time noticing Kim Sihyun.

Team 1000%
- On the whole a rather forgettable performance.
- The only one who caught my eye was Kim Minju.
Team I Wish:
- This was interesting, because it has three op my top favorites and one of my most disliked trainees.
- Jo Yuri didn't really stand out in terms of visuals, but she more than made up for it with her voice.
- Kim Chaewon is absoloutely perfect for this. Such a princess. I wish her rap part were longer tho, haha.
Team I Am:
- I feel the producers really dropped the ball on this one. The song didn't feel cute at all, and considering the other songs this episode, a more sexy approach would've been better.
- Ahn Yujin and Choi Rena both did really well showing their own charms.
- The way the performance was edited made it feels Huh Yunjin was center.

Team Rollin' Rollin'
- Jang Won Young always makes me smile when she's on stage. I think that's what makes her a great idol. To be this good at her age, she's a legend in the making.
- Fun song, fun performance. Good stuff.
Team Rumor
- This song isn't really my preferred style so that doesn't help.
- The stockings make their outfits overly slutty. I don't like it.
- This goes for more of the performances this ep, but the audio felt really off.
Team Let's Meet Again
- This song is really generic, haha.
- Wang Yiren did alright.
- I felt Kang Hyewon was on autopilot, or rather, it was like she was focusing on her part and forgot about the rest of the performance before it.
As far as the team ranking goes, I feel it was pretty spot on this time!
As far as my Top 12 picks, it's more or less the same. :nervous

Honda Hitomi
- Not familiar with her, but I feel she could do well
- Jang Won Young: Considering her age and how eloquent she is, it feels like she really practiced fixed expressions and polite answers. I guess that's why she comes across too mature for her age.
- Ahn Yujin: It took me a long time before I started to see her charms. I think she might overcompensate at times when she feels insecure.
- Kim Minju as a wacky character? I don't see that anymore, haha. Visuals and innocent charm for the win.
- Jo Yuri: I was right! It's easy to forget how young she when she has a voice like that. She doesn't stand out that much in a group from a visual point of view, but I'm glad people acknowledge her talent.
- Choi Yena: The balance has definitely shifted to funny. She's a good kid who's very entertaining.
- Lee Chaeyeon: Still not my type, but I feel she does fit this group. Hopefully she can aid the others in improving their dancing skills.
- Kang Hyewon: Her appearance is definitely her main appeal. I saw some stats she's most popular with men in their 40s and 50s.
- Kwon Eunbi: Still feels like a veteran, so it was great to see how nervous she was during the guerrilla event in Japan. She could be a great leader.
- Kim Chaewon: From model trainee to princess of Woollim. She didn't get much that screentime, but one second is enough to make you fall for her.
- Yabuki Nako: She proved she doesn't need Miku to be great. It's easy to find things to like about her.
- Miyawaki Sakura: She has a certain charm that makes her very likable. I feel she's done all she can within 48G, so I hope this is the next big step in her career.
- Honda Hitomi: Cute singing voice which fits with the cute style Kpop songs. I still feel like I don't know her at all, so should be fun to see more of her.
