Synopsis

Based on a popular Manga, Minami (Itoh Misaki) is a single 28-year-old office worker in an advertising office. She's very work-oriented and her love is doubted by her boyfriend. One day, she meets Yuya (Kamenashi Kazuya), who is a special worker at her company.

Tokyo, 2006. Minami Fuji is riding a train along Tokyo Bay. Weary from a day's work, she falls asleep while on the train. Her nap time is obstructed by the sound of somebody's cell phone ringing. She opens her eyes to see the phone lying unattended on a nearby seat. Reluctantly, she answers the phone. It's a man claiming to have dropped his phone. He wants Minami to deliver it to him before his job interview begins. However, since Minami too has a meeting she must attend, she takes the phone to the lost and found department of a nearby station.

On her way to work, Minami spots an old commercial being shown on a big-screen TV. She immediately takes a picture of it with her camera. That's when she realizes that someone else is also absorbed in the commercial. It's Yuya Ishida, the young man who called to have his cell phone delivered.

Kyotaro Imaoka, creative director of an advertisement agency, is having a meeting at an insurance company with Kunio Sakuragi and Satoshi Hagiwara. Minami soon joins the meeting. They have come to give a presentation for the new TV commercial for their company.

Meanwhile, Yuya has arrived at the place where he will have his interview. He is immediately given a tour of the office as well as a lecture on commercial planning. He has no idea that Minami has returned to the office and is having a meeting with Kyotaro and the others.

Later on, Yuya delivers mail to Minami. At first, she doesn't even look up at him. But when she does, it only takes 15 seconds—the same length as a television commercial—for Minami to realize that she had ran into Yuya while watching the commercial on the big-screen TV, and it was also his cell phone that she picked up on the train.

BTW, I think it's Suppli and not Supply. Suppli as in short for suppliment (as in, a guy who is a suppliment to a girl to make her strong).

Post by: teth on July 20, 2006, 01:37:41 AM: Sapuri was very boring. Ep 1 was okay...but ep 2 is just blah. I don't care one bit about any of these characters. Kame's character is also extremely uninteresting. No wonder ratings dropped so much.

I'm considering dropping it.

Post by: Ruffy on July 21, 2006, 12:11:50 AM: I agree that this drama is very disapointing. itoh misaki is terrible as always (but nice to look at) and the story is uninteresting..nothing happens between the main characters..the story between Eita and that other woman would be more interesting..

I'll watch ep3 and if that also sucks I'll drop this..

XD but I know what you guys mean though, the plot is quite typical like a younger guy falls in love with a senpai...(eg. Kimi wa petto, Anego,etc.) I still want to know what's going to happen though hehe

The opening song by KAT-TUN hasn't been released thus far, and there are no known plans to release it. For now, all we can do is rip the audio from the show (which I haven't done yet). :evil:

Sapuri so far has been kinda "okay" for me only. I like the way in which they had Minami's thoughts framed out in like a storyboard for a commercial? But plot and acting-wise, it's a bit weak. I'm hoping that it will pick up though after Minami and Yuya get together.

But as of now? As far as romantic comedies are concerned for this season, I somehow would rather watch 'Hanayome wa Yakudoshi'. :P

But now it seems with episode 7 and 8 things are finally start to happen. I really like the interaction with Shiraishi's character and Imaoko's daughter.

an the only memorable moment was when kame was forced to put on a bunny costume and made to dance..haha..that scene was priceless
