Yup.... you can split into RAR Archives with Rapid Share.... but you may also want to try this site as well.....
http://www.qfile.de/
...... they also allow RAR Archives but they offer an EXTRA 20 mb's per hour more than Rapid Share !!
Rapid Share = 30 mb's per hour
Qfile = 50 mb's per hour

I'm looking to exploit this service and since RapidShare has been a bitch to our Asian peeps, try this file and see if it works - just click (http://img292.echo.cx/img292/8504/clickmebitch4gg.jpg) then(http://img292.echo.cx/img292/2480/thenclickme23uc.jpg)

DOWNLOAD THIS RANDOM H!P PIC:

Opinions, speeds? Let me know.

ETA: OK. A bigger file was demanded, try this out 48 MB of Maki:

My home computer isn't the best to begin with, but as far as performance goes, DLing with it works well (sometimes better/faster) than other webhosts.

Seems okay to me, but it's just a pic... you might upload a bigger file for testing purposes...  :)

Yeah works. Though as has been said, a bigger file may be a fairer test..

Nice find...what's the size limit we can upload, and how long do the files last?

Oh wait...all we can up is 50mb, and only download 50mb per hour?  The only part that bothers me is the last part (if true), because I want to upload more albums, but YSI in my opinion gets unreliable (unless we password protect our files) .

Hmm...yeah, each free webhost has its faults, seems like (for the moment) Qfile is the lesser of several evils. I'd rather wait an hour for a file then not being able to download at all.

I'm a go ahead and reupload all the PB's again since I haven't heard any complaints. And turn this thread into a tutorial since only wakko and risky_cat can read the site.

The file "ayumi2.part1.rar" (45.78 MB) is to big for the remaining free-traffic of 25.9MB. Your Free-Traffic will be reset 60 minutes after your last download. Reset will be in 57 minutes.

When you download something there is bar telling you how much you have left after you downloaded the file, anything bigger will have to wait for an hour...

I'm downloading at 50kb/s which is decent, but I suspect it's a little slower because I'm on a wireless connection here.  I'll try it on my wired connection at home later to see if it's faster there.

[edit] I almost forgot to vote.

[add] At home I was getting over 125Kb/s  :D
