Another hot and talented girl I discovered today!^^ :heart: There wasn't a thread for her, so I thought I would start one and hopefully you guys that know more about her can help me out! She has a new single releasing 11.1.06 and the PV to it is pretty awesome, if anyone gets a chance to check it out :heart:

Me too! I've just discovered her a couple of days ago! I did searched on her on this forum. But I didn't start making a thread for her because I was afraid there's already one exists. I think she's very pretty. She has the face of an angel. Too bad she's a rock star and I'm not into rock. I've downloaded one of her song. The style is not really my type. I think she's a new artist, right? So far, she had just released some CDs and DVD(s) and nothing more.

Got into her a few months ago really. Heard her name mentioned a few times in other Jpop/Jrock forums, so I investigated.

Pierrot is still my favorite song by her <3

I think she has also released an album under a different name.

Also, try searching her on youtube to see the PV to her new song, Nemutteita Kimochi Nemutteita Kokoro ... There are some gorgeous shots of her face in it, and the song is very good, too! :heart:

The concert was at the oddly named Osaka BIGCAT (http://www.arm-live.com/bigcat/index.html), which is super tiny, and holds around 700people.
(maybe a little bigger than my apartment...it's also where I saw BONNIE PINK not long ago)

Thought it was strange that she's only doing 2 gigs, 1 show in Osaka and 1 in Tokyo in a few weeks, but as soon as we walked in, we knew why.. There was a film crew all set up to capture the show, and I have no doubt, these 2 gigs are being held for her to make a live DVD. (she hasn't released ANY DVDs yet)

The show starts, and she comes out looking like an 80s rocker. HUGE brown rockstar hair, blue denim jeans, a tight black top that exposed about an inch of her waist (her waist is so tiny....yummmy), and a short black leather jacket.

She didn't start off too well, and looked a bit fake/forced with her stage presence, which I'm sure was because of the film crew. Don't get me wrong, she sounded and looked great, it just didn't come over to me as "natural". Between songs, she would drink a bit of water, then check her face in a little mirror, which I thought was a tad odd, but again, that would be because of the cameras. Anyways, she didn't seem that happy with her performance, and at around the 6th or 7th song (Secret Code) she paused for a fraction of a second between lines at the start of the song, which annoyed her and she just completely Jekyll-'n-Hyded it, and went like "fuck it". From then on, she was like the most natural live artist I've ever seen. Now I've seen probably over 100 live acts, ranging from legends to jammers, and everyone of them has put on a stage persona of sorts, but Aya was like an off-stage person, on-stage. She just had this amazing glowing smile, was waving to individual people in the crowd, and just didn't have a care in the world. Kinda like she was hanging out with 700 odd of her best friends, and just 100% nailed everything.
So while the first 30mins or so were great, just a bit unnatural, the last 1hr was killer.
I'm definitely going to see her next time she playing, and eagerly waiting for this DVD to come out. (I'll be pissed if I'm wrong!!)

I actually sorta thought the same :lol:
I've only really found out about her from this thread right now.
Her music is very B'z influenced but just doesn't have that same effect as B'z songs. It's not too bad, and she seems pretty talented. She's also really hot.

And that venue looks pretty big compared to some of the places I've been too :lol:

Kamiki needs more love! :heart: It took me a few more listens before I could really appreciate her, but this girl has one of the strongest female vocals in J-pop/rock. Her cover of Pierrot is great :heart:
