Hazardous materials from Japan are already being dumped into the Philippines even before a new bilateral agreement between the two countries still has to take effect.
Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel Jr. vowed to examine the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (Jpepa) "with a fine-tooth comb" when it sent to the Senate for ratification in the wake of disturbing allegations that it may pave the way for the dumping of toxic wastes from Japan into Philippines soil. Philppine's Navy, Air Force, and Army is outclassed by its neighbors so it is not suprising for this to happen.

this is new news to me... i guess this is happening beacuse of a lack in good governance by the countrys leaders.
