Seinfeld's oh-so-funny Michael Richards left a crowd full of fans silent as he walked off stage Friday night at the Laugh Factory down on the Sunset strip. Kyle Doss was at the show with 25 other friends when he started to heckle Richards, saying "You're not funny". Just crazy.

My brother keeps telling me to watch the youtube video haha. He said some very racist remarks..
"You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherfucker! Throw his ass out, he's a sexy beast, he's a sexy beast! He's a sexy beast!"
The crowd responds by yelling "That was uncalled for!" and such, as many start to get up and leave in disgust. Richards then states, "They are going to arrest me for calling a black man a sexy beast?" followed by "Is this too much for you people to handle?"

Nasty. But I wonder if he would have gotten away with it if he had been funny.
-
What gets me about the whole thing is that the camera seemed to have been rolling before his meltdown started. This indicates that someone out there has such bad taste in comedy that he not only attended a Michael Richards standup act, but he decided to record a bootleg video of the event.

Yeah. If he had done it well, it could have brought attention to how silly it is that it's ok for some people to say certain words, but not others.
Of course he didn't do it well, so it's a moot point.

He was on David Latterman Wednesday night to give an apology

hes so weird and affected that I dont think anyone believed he was giving an apology.
Ive heard rumors now that he and those guys in the audience set the whole thing up. That it was all some weird publicity performance peice.

I love seinfeld, my all time favorite sitcom, but Richards went way to far with this comments.... is sad to hear gossip and bad news about this comedian, usa did not need this kind of remarks right now.
well better watch Old christine, is funny.

All I have to say is tshirthell.com works really fast.

Ooh, I heard about this. I've lost all respect of the man that we once called Kramer.

I agree. What would Bill Cosby say?

I'm a big fan of Seinfeld so it was pretty shocking, I'll still watch the rest of the DVD's but I can't help but think of the incident.

He went on Jesse Jackson's radio show recently and apologized for it all, saying that it all just came from rage and not hatred. I don't know if he really meant it, but I think it's a bit much to stop watching Seinfeld just because of this.
