It's impossible to deny that she is a serious fashion influence so, discuss her styles here! :heart:
Regarding her latest style: I'm so glad that she went back to blonde hair, I was gonna die if she kept the brown hair. I also think the things she's been wearing to the JEWEL lives have been really pretty (the dresses), though people think she looks heavy in them. >o<
I think her best style was around her I Am.. era! Though her hair seems to be going back to that style as well. xD

Are you kidding? Ayu is *THE* fashion force in Japan, and imo, in the world! Her nail art is crazy amazing and she does the most daring things with her personal style (hair, clothes, etc.) She's definitely one of my personal style icons^^ :heart:
It's so hard for me to choose my favourite Ayu style, since I think she carries off everything really well! XD I will have to say I really liked her I am... look as well~ and this current look is quite gorgeous too^^ I'm loving the colour of her hair (it's more golden than her signature orange-y blonde of before) and I'm loving the hazel contacts she used in the SECRET jacket shoot!^^

A recent poll, conducted by CDTV, a music program in Japan, asked viewers which female singer had the best style. The poll, which was called "My Fashion Leader", was recently closed and here are the results:
1. Hamasaki Ayumi
2. Koda Kumi

6. Otsuka Ai

& She's the only one that can actually pull of BLONDE hair.. Haven't you guys noticed that not many asians can actually look GREAT with blonde hair?

Jolin Tsai (from Taiwan), for instance :P
I think there were a couple of pictures floating around the net before showing the both of them attending special events (in their respective countries, of course) and Jolin Tsai was seen to be wearing something always similar to what Ayu had worn to her own event.

The ayu/ jolin comparasonns were really interesting but..I thought the Ayu/ Madonna was crap XD But I'm pretty biased about Ayu things, clearly XD

Thanks for that link, aedon! :heart: Those comparisons are really obvious! XD But honestly, I think every country has its "copy" singer/group of another country~ Like how Korea's Hyori Lee was rumoured to be a copy of Britney Spears (and yes, Hyori's "Get Ya" is almost exactly like Brit's "Do Somethin" XD But enough OT-ness LOL)
Ayu is a major icon, not just in Japan, but across Asia~ It's only natural she would have one or two "copycats" :heart:
Btw, I have to say I don't buy the Ayu/Madonna comparison, either XD LOL

C'mon, it's silver paint and MUD, and it's a commercial, Ayu doesn't control them :lol:
Overall, I think it's kinda an honour that they mostly compare Ayu with Madonna (and not Britney, for example) now, same *icon* level ^_^;
