Title: Moths drink the tears of sleeping birds

A species of moth drinks tears from the eyes of sleeping birds using a fearsome proboscis shaped like a harpoon, scientists have revealed. The new discovery – spied in Madagascar – is the first time moths have been seen feeding on the tears of birds. (http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn10826)

to fulfill its thirst it goes to great lengths even to an extent of evolving a proboscis to get water....awesome!!

Pretty dumb if you ask me, they could've just tried drinking something else. :P

That picture grossed and creeped me out to no end...but that's mainly because I absolutely HATE HATE HATE moths! *hides*
