Since Nacchi's a soloist, and gets her own concerts, I almost don't want her to (basically all three NUN girls)... It'd be nice to have the others shine a little bit because every single girl in this concert can sing really nicely and over half of them are the underdogs due to the WH group! :(

Yep she is on the list for this and has some nice items as well im looking forward to seeing her and hey would anyone agree that it costs more for HP fans to goto Japan that anyone else ?
There loads i want on this one infact i want more on this one than the Wondeful Hearts concert.

But, that doesn't mean she won't sing it. Last year, NUN all got their newest solo songs, so it's a possibility she'll sing it, but it's like a 50-50 chance... :(

I'm still hoping for Morning Coffee with Yuko, Nacchi, Kaori + Kei and Gocchin :heart: That'd be as close to perfect (and to the original) as possible.
Other than that all I want is more than two songs with my favorites in them together :D

Probably because all the girls are experienced performers. There's only three girls in the whole concert who haven't been around since 2000 (Ayaya, Satoda, and Miuna), and Miuna joined in 2003, so she's had close to 3 years performing since then! And all the girls are legal, and their voices have stopped maturing... Whereas, WH mainly consists of girls who are 15 years old and under (16 of them - HPK, Kanna, Koharu, Micchi)...

I agree but one thing is for certain Wondeful Hearts tickets sell out alot quicker and are commanding higher prices when being sold on than the Elder Club tickets.

But Morning Coffee is like 1st gen's song. Anyone else even touches it, and it like... sucks (sup 2002 version?). Kinda like anyone else but Nacchi singing Furusato, if you know what I mean.

But that depends on who's watching/listening to it. It's more of an opinion that it sucks if it isn't 1st generation, imo. I know of a bunch of people who find the other versions of Morning Coffee just as good. And when talking about Furusato, there's so many different versions of that song, and every one of them sounds awesome. The original is personally not my favorite of the bunch, but for a bunch of people it is. It just all depends on who's listening.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's bad.. but IMO, Morning Coffee only works with five people or less. 2002 version didn't do it ANY justice, yet the Nacchi/Kaori version performed in the 15nin de NON STOP concert was win. Performing Morning Coffee with MORE than 5 members (see 2002 version) just.. wrecks it. It's like.. having more than one person perform Furusato together.

Eh, today I went to Wonderful Concert.
There were a lot of kids.
Everyone gave her best ♪
They also sang two of my songs.
Tomorrow the Elder Live will begin! I'll give my best.
Kids? I guess she means the ones in the stage, her company partners?
Or kids as in parents are allowing children to go H!P concerts again? LOL
Anyway I can't wait for Elder Live. Still one more day to find out the setlist and a rip...

Really boring, too much solo imo, and other predictable stuff. I was looking forward to more random songs. But at least the Mirai no Tobira looks promising, old school MM ftw!!

More random songs, shi? Ok it might be a slow/mid tempo show but the songs couldn't be more random except for two or three recent hits. This setlits kicks ass because they did not overflood each song with a hundred singers and they did not use the common songs they used before. GnP with those two will be hot! Maki and MKB will have the Captain Pro whatever concert so I think the list is fair and neat. Can't wait for a rip. I knew they'd sing MY ASIA without the other two. Nice setlist for once!

YES, MORE random songs! 80% of that setlist could've been predicted. You know what would've been random? 4-5 Elder Club members performing Jiriri Kiteru. YEAH. Or Nochiura natsumi performing some Melon Kinenbi song instead the same old Suki sugite. But those are just examples. I was expecting more.

What makes H!P cons these days interesting is the shuffling. You can just hear the audience's reaction when they hear the intro and see who get to sing it. It keeps things unpredictable. Let's say with Berryz con, I just know they're gonna perform most of the singles, and if it's summer, then Semi and Natsu Wakame and other songs like that. With MM, it'll be songs from their latest album plus a few popular classics... etc etc. H!P cons aren't like that. Okay, in summer con, they might sing Meccha Holiday, but then again... who gets to sing it? That's the fun in it. If I want to see an H!P act singing their own songs, I can just go to their concert.
And, yes, I prefer Berryz over anything in H!P right now. Coz 99.9% of everything they do is entertainment to me.
But no showing flesh, please. I'm not that kinda person.

oh well finally someone dug out T&C goodness...Gatamekira with the only T&C member left (Acchan <3) and Maki should be a reason enough to see this concert (or Ill just make someone to rip that part out for me :D)

Actually shuffling made these Winter/Summer tours not interesting to me (And other people, it seems) (http://www.machineworks.co.uk/whg/2006/10/post_3237.html) Not to mention that half of the times, whoever gets a song that it's not her own song, fails at doing a decent performance of it. I like Berryz over half H!P as well but that doesn't imply I want them on Goto's songs, for example, or viceversa. I think the joint concerts are a great opportunity to show everyone all the artists at the same time (JE Countdown, A-Nation, Giza party...) so I wish H!P tours could be back to be that window to H!P where you could enjoy two or three songs of each artist and maybe start liking them. After all, just a matter of tastes. On the setlist topic, Elder list is kind of better than Otome's because it's fifty-fifty and at least you know their voices won't ruin other songs even if they go shuffling. I like the setlist so much. :love:

I agree with shi and tama that the concert isn't that interesting because it's more fun to see the girls interact in another song they normally wouldn't do with other people they not normally with. I LOVE MKB concerts, but last years Ayaya-Kei-Maeda-Masae team was freakin' awesome! As well as Goto's group which was basically the better dancers, and then Abe's group was in between! It makes the concert more interesting than having solos everywhere by the solo artists, and it allows the girls to have more lines than they normally would have. Meguta? Ayaka? Both not bad singers, but do they get a lot of lines/songs? Not really... Asami? Maeda? Kei? All great singers, but they don't get a lot of songs/lines otherwise, so winter concerts, to me, are a time to show off the underdogs who you normally wouldn't see being a lead in a single, or even have a single!

What is that? Sales comparison? It's stupid to compare sales of concerts from 3 years ago to 06 concerts. The situations are totally different. One factor is already mentioned there; they aired it on BS-tv before the DVD came out. Most of the DVDs on that list are either grad con DVDs or are from when MM/H!P was still somewhat popular. Yes, WHL had Konno's grad but it also had only half of H!P. No Matsuu, no Nacchi, no Goto, and of course that'd affect sales.

I cried tears of joy at seeing Mari's name included, meaning she actually getting to sing again for once.

I don't think Mari is MCing this concert. She usually only MCs the WH concerts i.e. last year's. So, I think that's why she can sing in this concert.

Big YAY for 'Rairai Shinfuu', I love this one. And 'Kakumei Chikku Kiss', it's a sure win. But apart from those, and for Yaguchi singing, the tracklist is meh.

I was reading this thread, and I didn't see this comment this morning, but they're NOT part of Hello! Pro Party ~Captain adfjjlk~ yet! They're doing a musical type thing, but that's completely different (they're in it, in other words, but probably will only have half as many songs as Gocchin), so in other words, MKB didn't get a fair amount of songs compared to everyone else... UNLESS you want to get technical and say they're the only people in this concert besides Yuko and NUN to get solo artist concerts, to which I'll reply, but we never get to see them :MKdepressed: I LOVE MKB as performers, so seeing them with only one song is really sad for me because I rarely get to see them to begin with, and their songs and concerts have to be one of the best in H!P (I'm talking about all around performance... Getting the crowd riled up, singing, dancing, etc).

Sorry. Forget Captain live, I got confused titles with Hello!Pro Party 2006 with Maki, Viyuden and Tsuji. I meant the H!P On Stage -the musical type- has even more songs. Last year (http://wiki.theppn.org/Hello_Project_on_Stage%21_2006_Nihon_Seinenkan_Koen_%22Yujo_to_Maho_no_Trump_%7EStar_Gakuyaura_Monogatari%7E%22) it was pretty well shuffled and they were a lot of girls; this time it will be only Maki and MKB so I think MKB will get a lot of stuff there and Maki too (That's why I think she does one solo less than Aya and Abe). Elder live, in a numeric way:

Some of you are drawing it too negative. Goto has only one more solo than Maeda and is in two more perfs than she is. Just an example. In the list I'm including "All" songs and CM / MKB counting the perfs where maybe there are just two or three of them. Yet, they are. The ones who get more releases perform more so they can sell more. I find it logic and I guess who made the setlist found it too. Everyone else moves from 4 to 6 songs which is pretty good in my opinion. It's first half everyone their songs, second half shuffling. So I think it couldn't have been managed better. If this is even ok with me, that I dislike shuffling, how can't be bad to people liking it?
In fact, getting rid of the shuffling would make them get one more solo -or even two- and be comparable to the ones Goto have. Since there wouldn't be shuffling, everyone would have the same time on stage. Then blame the shuffling you all like so much. It's obviously that shuffling songs one gets more songs to ones than to the others because it has a lot of preparation. They have to think on clothes change, they have to think if "she" would be in the next song or not, with who, etcetera. It's what shuffles carries with them. If instead, you make it all shuffles, you don't even know if it would have been better or worse than it is now.
That said, I can understand why H!P concerts, that used to be a window to the casual people to show off how good each artist was, turned to a shuffling festival starting on Kaori's grad concert. Nowadays, it's not a time to bring your friends, watch your favorite, and listen to the others in the label, which is what it used to be. Now it is an entire show for the wota. Tama said it. It's the expectation of who will sing what. So as long as they do it this way to keep selling out the tickets, it's alright for me. I just pointed out I prefer the old method, and that the shuffling for Elders hasn't been as bad as it might have look to some of you :)

Sorry. Forget Captain live, I got confused titles with Hello!Pro Party 2006 with Maki, Viyuden and Tsuji. I meant the H!P On Stage -the musical type- has even more songs. Last year (http://wiki.theppn.org/Hello_Project_on_Stage%21_2006_Nihon_Seinenkan_Koen_%22Yujo_to_Maho_no_Trump_%7EStar_Gakuyaura_Monogatari%7E%22) it was pretty well shuffled and they were a lot of girls
But the year before, there was one with Abe and MKB, and MKB didn't get a lot of singing. It wasn't called H!P On Stage, but it was basically the same thing :o

I agree, they sound GREAT!!! But doesn't it seem a little weird that a song that's being promoted as a "Special 10 Anniversary Unit Single" is performed live for the first time without two of the members of that special unit? Not that I missed them really (maybe Risa), just that it seems weird to me...:confused:

I'm sort of in love with this concert, even if I'm disappointed with the setlist and all ... no Morning Coffee, WTH??? That's like TEH song that needs to be sung during a celebraton tour!

I think the harmony in the chorus is done by Nakazawa and Yaguchi. I'm 100% certain about Yuuchan, and the other voice is pretty high so it's gotta be Yaguchi. If it's not, please let me know.
