Liechtenstein is bigger than we thought.
Making the sort of grand error for which vast, empty countries might be forgiven, the world's sixth smallest country announced yesterday that all this time it had been underestimating its size.
The Office of Economic Affairs disclosed that surveyors had discovered that the country did not measure 160 square kilometres but was, in fact, a slightly more impressive 160.475 square kilometres. (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2521858,00.html)

I guess Singapore finally caught on that Liechtenstein was cheating in the competition for the world's most densely populated country...

Oh, like you never looked at the borders of the surrounding countries and noticed the supposed total area didn't match.
