Now, I imagine most of you who are reading this thread have no idea who Jake Shimabukuro is, but be prepared to be blown away by the fastest fingers in hawaii. A master of the ukulele, Jake's ability is nothing short of amazing and he expertly shows how beautiful this woefully underrated instrument can be. I briefly got to see a performance of his at the international festival this week in daytona, and I was planning on going to see him again this weekend, but I just found out he left today for a show in japan on monday. While he's a relatively unknown independent artist in the states, he has a fairly successful major label contract with Sony Music in japan. I'm gonna check a few music stores in the area for his albums and then order them online if unsuccessful. Wow, this guy really is amazing. Right after watching I had to look for the song but couldn't find any active torrents with it available. George Harisson huh...maybe I'll head over to Futureshop so I can preview the cd and then not buy it...hahah
I wonder how much practice he's had for such incredibly fasts hands.
