Now this is an endearing story with a happy ending.
Thai woman only speaks a rare dialect and could not write, read or speak Thai or English, boarded the wrong bus. She ended up in a social service hostel for more than 2 decades.

That really is heartwarming. Yawi (the only language the woman spoke, incidently, my mom's first language) is a dialect of Malaysian spoken in the 3 southern provinces of Thailand, and completely unintelligible to Thais. It's quite tragic how she ended up in the North.
