"Patch Tuesday," when Microsoft Corp. releases repairs for problems in its software, came and went this week with six critical fixes — including the first one that touches Vista, the new operating system billed as the most secure Windows version yet.
The hole registers high on the irony scale: The flaw was in a "malware protection engine" that helps several Microsoft security products — including "Windows Defender" for Vista — guard against online threats. The problem could let an outsider "take complete control" of a victim's computer, according to Microsoft's security advisory. Hahaha, this is always the same story with Microsoft.
They make something "secure" yet the hole found in it it always so damn huge.

^ You are forgetting all the 'security holes' there in in the other security software there is around.

Thats the problem with Vista or microsoft in general. they are concentrating too much on security where at a certain point its annoying. i find XP annoying enough with the balloons that keep poppinp up in the corner

^ Balloon tips and other annoyances can be disabled.
If you ask me, the reason why everyone loves to hate Microsoft is simply because there's so many users. It's easy to bash a common 'enemy' that everybody knows.
Of course other programs have bugs and security holes as well, but there's more of them to choose from and they're probably not as complex as operating systems are. As long as software is written by humans, there will always be flaws, holes, bugs and other issues. But they can be fixed. Just get over it. :)
