Durham police are hoping to burst the bubble of a thief responsible for more than $5,000 worth of chewing gum thefts across the Greater Toronto Area. (http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20070303/bubble_gum_thief_070303/20070303?hub=TorontoHome)

Since when is bubble gum such a hot commodity :confused:

The article failed to mention this, on CNN they mentioned the Durham police, actually hired a special task force in dealing with the assailant-
