The sale of imitation samurai swords could be banned by the end of the year, the Home Office announced today.
Importing or hiring the weapons could also be made illegal following a string of samurai sword attacks in recent years. (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/03/05/nsamurai105.xml)
Will this guy (http://forum.jphip.com/showthread.php?t=7971) become a criminal?

If imitation ones are going to be banned, does this mean you're still allowed a real one? :D

I was thinking the same. So is it ok to attack someone with real samurai swords?

its sad to ban something which has symbolized Japan for ages. But i like the idea of banning fake ones and let the real ones go on!!!!!
