Title: Jewish mystics to Madonna: Lay off our sage!
Post by: Foxy Brown on October 09, 2005, 06:13:55 PM
Word that Madonna’s upcoming album includes a paean to a 16th-century Jewish mystic has prompted the rabbis who guard his legacy to accuse the pop idol of sacrilege and hint at divine punishment. (

I haven't kept track of Madonna's musics and videos in the longest time, haha. I think its been years!

"Hung Up" sounds pretty good, and it's really catchy! she's had better songs, but this one isn't bad.

Madonna : Bistro SMAP, 16 January 2006 ( 171MB )

Just Madonna's appearance on Bistro SMAP alone. The food order was Japanese winter food. Quite fun.

I always get quite a kick watching international celebs on Bistro SMAP. Will Smith, Beckham and Guti, Richard Gere... Shingo goes CRAZY in front of them all irregardless.

Madonna was also on the SMAPXSMAP Christmas Special. Will see if I get to clip that out to share before I leave. Shame there aren't subs on these though. Maa... It's BISTRO!! Watch it for the food and the crazy chap called Katori Shingo!! :w00t:

Title: Anti-gay Russian activists sue Madonna for $10 million
Post by: Foxy Brown on August 18, 2012, 11:37:51 PM
A group of Russian anti-gay activists sued American pop star Madonna for $10 million on Friday, saying she had insulted their feelings when she spoke out for gay rights at a concert in St Petersburg last week.

Performing in black lingerie with the words "No Fear" scrawled on her back, Madonna attacked a city law adopted in March that imposed fines for spreading homosexual "propaganda". She had earlier called the law a "ridiculous atrocity".

Homosexuality, punished with jail terms in the Soviet Union, was decriminalized in Russia in 1993, but much of the gay community remains underground as prejudice runs deep. (,0,6747819.story)
