What is the point of living that long? All you basicly do is on the bed and let someone to take care of you. I know I dont want that.
And how are you so sure about that? From what I hear, this man is pretty active still, running his garden and taking long walks by himself. And as proved by the interview, his mind is still working good too. One thing is to see a healthy old person, and another to see an old person that had bad habits all his/her life. My great-grandfather died at 100. I still remember when he had his 95th birthday, he danced with his daughters, his granddaughters, five great-granddaughters and two of his great-great-granddaughters (I don't know if that's the way to write it), and when they sat down, he kept dancing and said "women today get tired too soon". He never smoked, he drank lightly, and he ate lots of fresh food. And of course, living in a farm, he exercised every day during his usual labors. So I think there is a difference.
