Alan Wake
« on: August 22, 2010, 01:54:59 AM »

Quote
Alan Wake is an psychological thriller, the plot follows thriller writer Alan Wake in uncovering the mystery behind the disappearance of his wife while on vacation in idyllic small-town Bright Falls, and having to deal with blackouts and visions of characters and ideas from his latest novel, which he cannot remember writing, coming to life

Am I the only one who has played the game? The plot itself started really slow and it gradually picked up.

I can't bring myself to finish this game siggh. At times it gets so scary that I have to close it and catch a breather. I really want to finish it though, the storyline and atmosphere was really designed well.

^Trust me you should finish it. It was really good game too bad it really doesn't get the recognition it should.

Just bought Alan Wake for 14.99 on Steam today. Pretty excited to play it but also scared since I am not a big fan of scary games.

I wonder why everybody thinks it scary? I mean I don't like scary games that much but its mostly shadow like people.

Well anything that involves being in the dark most of the time is considered scary for me. I get scared in games easily :(. Alan Wake so far is very good. I especially like the manuscripts and the way the story telling is handled.
