A 43-year-old Indian woman has been rescued after officials said she had been locked up by her family in a single room for more than 25 years.

There's no excuse for that. Rather than deal with her behavioural issues, the family just locked her up and made like she wasn't there. Lazy and pathetic on the part of the family, especially the (clearly unfit) parents.

Well... her brother did testify that they had to confine her up because she had been abusing others
Wow, for that long?
