Can anyone recommend the good arcade game in 90s-2000 ?

Now I have MAME & Neo Geo emulator ,so I tried to find good games that can play with them. 
I like the type "beat them up" or something like "Metal Slug".
Can anyone recommend the games ?

When you say Neo Geo all I can think about are SNK games, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Samurai Spirtis but I wouldn't be caught dead playing these anymore.
