What cd's have you bought expecting the best, but getting the worst? I finally got around to buying Michael Bormann's newest band The Trophy- The Gift Of Life. I was totally excited when I put it on, only to discover they are using a drum machine. The songs were terrible, and I instantly regreted buying it. The only reason I didn't throw it away was because once again, the vocals were top notch.

Another big let down was Bon Jovi Circles. I bought it last night, and it just wasn't what I expected.

Not all that sure about CD's tbh. For the most part I don't appreciate an album on first listen, but require multiple listens to appreciate most songs.
I think my biggest letdown lately has been buying a song from Head Phones President off iTunes, seeing as I couldn't find it anywhere else only to realise it's the instrumental version.
