Since this is the Akihabara section of the forums, i figured there are alot of geeks here who play Super Robot Wars. Let's discuss everything Super Robot Wars from Favorite units, characters, releases, timelines, strategies, fanfics, music etc.

Haha! I hope I'm not the only one here who knows what Kyoot is talking about!

My first SRW game  to complete was SRW:OG on GBA, then OG2, OGs on PS2 & OGs Gaiden

I also have SRW Alpha on Dreamcast, I've beaten that and played some of SRW:F on Saturn but that game was HARD lol I might have Final Gaiden I'm not sure.. I also played a lot of Alpha Gaiden in English!

The last game I got is SRW:Z (you should totally play this it's amazing) and I have the Z special Disc too, I haven't finished either of them because I was a bit burned out on games/SRW at the time, haha but I'll finish it sometime soon

Yep, I played SRW Z but i haven't finished it yet. My PS2 broke so I can't play right now.

I gave up on SRWMX when I reached the stage where you had to fight that army of EVA-05's. No matter what I did, I just couldn't beat them.

The first one I beat was SRWA3. Thanks to Ideon. I had to adjust the squad system, since it was something new to me. Most of the bots there were too strong (Mazinkaizer, Gunbuster, GGGG, etc.) and once you've maxed out the stats the game becomes easy.

I remember starting SRWOG. not sure which stage I stopped.

My favorite mechs are Dis Astranagant, Dygenguar, Ausenseiter, Thrudgelmir and RaiOh/DaiRaiOh

Favorite bgm are Ken Kon Itteki, Trombe! and Baran Doban's theme.

First one I played was SRW IV on SNES. Kinda why its made me like Cybaster so much.

I've played F Final for Saturn and Shin for PS but I couldn't get into them. Alpha Gaiden got me into SRW completely, primarily because of the full animations of the attacks.

In SRW OG: The Inspector, Bullet's unit doesn't look much like a Huckebein Mk-II M. It seems to have Wildschwein design elements.

They just revealed the rivals in SRW L: The professor's grandson and his gynoid partner. His mech is called Straybird.

Free streaming of the new OG anime!!

Honestly, I'd say this version is pretty much PERFECT from the first episode!! they totally captured the tone of the games, music, voice actors, characters, and it's not slow paced like the first and feels a LOT like you're watching OG2, apart from the few slight changes! they even kept in Excellen's dirty jokes!

Also I love the AKB style ending haha, especially since my OG team was almost entirely composed of girls at one stage

I know a lot about Super Robot Wars and found the games very interesting. Sadly, I've never played any of them

Not sure if this is real. Supposedly, this is an article in Famitsu showing some (anime, live action and video game) mecha series that won't make it to an SRW game.

The Power Rangers' write-up mentions something about the Zyuranger name not being used because it sounds like "Jew Ranger".

I only played Alpha Gaiden on PS and OG and OG2 on GBA. This game really rocks. I love Excellen and Kyosuke. RAMPAGE GHOST!!!
