004: Classes start!
(I'll be changing the POV. I find it hard to write the story in Jurina's point of view. So now, the story will be told in 3rd person perspective.)
The sun was already up when Jurina woke up from deep slumber. Yesterday's training took all her energy and made her so exhausted. Yesterday was the last session of their rigorous training because school will be opening tomorrow. They were given a day-off in able for them to get some rest and prepare themselves mentally and emotionally for tomorrow's event. Jurina stood up and got her backpack from her cabinet.
"Ugh, I haven't been to a school before.." Jurina shook her head and groaned as she sorted her things out. Mariko bought her and Airi school supplies the day before yesterday. She has notebooks, pens, paper pads and a lot of school related paraphernalias. Just by observing them made Jurina groan for the nth time. Oh sure, Jurina was soooooo readdyyyyy.
She lazily left the bag on the table and went to look for Airi. But as she opened the door, Airi was already in front of the door. She prepared herself as she knows what's going to happen next.
"JURINA-CHAN!!!!" Airi energetically pounced on Jurina and hugged her. Jurina rolled her eyes and greeted Airi. "Good morning Airi." She patted Airi's back and broke the hug.
"I was gonna knock on your door but you opened it. So I just hugged you instead." Airi said as she went inside Jurina's room. She saw Jurina's bag and went to the table. "Ooh, I see you're preparing for tomorrow already." Airi picked up some of the notebooks and placed it inside the backpack.
"Uhm, not really. But I was going to, but I'm too lazy."
Airi laughed. "I know you're really curious what it's like to study at a proper school. Don't worry, you'll be okay." Then she patted Jurina's head. "Nishishi will be coming back this afternoon. Don't forget. 1pm. Briefing room." She smiled at her and bid goodbye.
Airi's actually right about Jurina's curiosity in going to school. The fact that Jurina has never set foot on a school makes Airi more excited for Jurina. Although Jurina isn't that easily amused, Airi's somehow sure that Jurina will be happy tomorrow. Finally, Jurina will have new friends, classmates, and acquiantances. Jurina doesn't have any friends other than Airi. Although there are a lot of young assassins in the agency, Jurina doesn't talk to them or at least be acquainted because she's an introvert. Airi, on the other hand is an extrovert. She loves talking to people and bugging them, sometimes. It is true then that opposites do attract.
Airi went back to her room and got herself ready too for later's occasion.

Nishishi arrived earlier than expected. She was carrying school unifroms and transcripts when Jurina saw her by the hallway. She quickly went to Airi's room and called Airi out. Airi immediately went out of the room and walked with Jurina to the briefing room.
The two looked at each other when Nishishi slyly smiled at them while the three of them were walking towards the briefing room. The smile freaked Jurina out but Airi smiled back. Then they entered the Briefing room and Nishishi dropped the things on the table inside and sat down.
"Ahhhhh~ So tired." Nishishi sighed and plopped down in the chair. "You girls should appreciate what I do for you..." She looked at us and said. "Both of you sit down, alright."
Jurina and Airi bowed at her and sat down on the fluffy leather couch. Then Nishishi grabbed the still packed uniforms and tossed them at the two. "Will you fit them now? Let's see if they fit."
The duo nodded and stood up. Even though they were quite hesistant at first, they opened the uniform packs anyway.
The uniform was all blue. It had a white lining on its collar and has a red necktie (same with uniform in Kiss Datte Hidarikiki)
"What the fuck" Jurina cursed silently as she observes the uniform. "Do you actually think that I am going to wear this?" Jurina shivered at the thought of herself wearing the uniform.
Nishishi sighed loudly and slammed the desk and pointed at Jurina. "Hey kid, you don't have the right to complain. Remember, this is a mission. I do not care whether you like it or not. But you have to wear this, otherwise, you will face consequences." Jurina angrily looked away from the other woman while Nishishi smirked in victory.
Actually, Jurina never liked Nishishi. The woman always irritates the soul out of her. She hates it when someone bosses her around. But she has no choice because Nishishi brings the orders to them.
On the other hand, Airi was liking the new uniform. She remembered the time when she can still wear school uniforms.
Unlike Jurina, Airi was hired when she was still a yankee way back middle school. She was friends with the other assassin, Suda Akari. Both of them were contacted by a street cleaner who works for the agency before. She tried to remember the name but she thinks it was like Maeda or something. Since both of them were yankees, their parents didn't care nonetheless. They accepted the calling and trained. But after training, Airi and Akari were assigned in different places. Akari was assigned in Tokyo while Airi stayed in Nagoya. Ever since, they've never talked again because there was like a force stopping Airi in engaging a conversation with the other girl. Then she met Jurina and became friends with her instead.
Going back to reality, Nishishi saw Airi smiling from ear to ear. She knew that Airi will like the uniform because of her personality. Opposite from Jurina, Airi has a positive energy, at least for Nishishi. She asked Airi, "So, do you like it?"
Airi nodded and said, "I don't like it...I love it!" She was jumping up and down and went to the bathroom to try on the uniform.
Jurina was thinking twice whether she will be fitting the uniform or not. But since she saw Airi all enthusiastic with the outfit, she decided to try it on too and followed her.
Nishishi sat down on the couch and waited for the two to come out. She was the one who was asked to enroll the two girls in the Rukawa Girls High School. It's a private high school in uptown Sakae and the president's daughter's school. The school is known for being prestigious and expensive. But nevertheless, the mission is well funded so it was okay. If the mission fails, the money's wasted but she actually never doubted the two girls' skills, especially Jurina's.
She was a street cleaner before, but was promoted as a messenger because the senator trusts her more than anyone, so she knows how things work. She was just worried about their future, as proper beings.If the plan fails, both of them, or one of them will rot in jail. Plus, Jurina's just a kid. She knows she's something better than this.
But she brushed the thought away when the two came out from the bathroom. Their uniforms perfectly fit. Jurina seemed uncomfortable but she really looks cute. Airi looked younger and slimmer. In conclusion, the two looked good. Nishishi grinned at the sight in front of her. The two looked normal and harmless. Perfect.
"It's good. It's good." Nishishi gave two thumbs up. Jurina groaned and sat on the couch with Nishishi while Airi danced for a while. Nishishi stood up and got the transcripts. She opened them and leaned on the table to read them out loud.
"Okay.." The girls paid attention to her and Airi stopped dancing and sat with Jurina. Nishishi started explaining.
f what you're getting yourself into. The school you're enrolled in is Rukawa Girls High School. It's in uptown Sakae. It's a dorm school so you guys will live there at the same time. So better pack up tonight. Luckily, both of you are in the same class, which is 3-B and same room in the dorm. Room 481." She then turned the page. "Your homeroom teacher is Minigishi Minami. She will guide you through out the school year. You are 26 pupils in a class. School starts at 8am and ends at 5 in the afternoon. You are required to wear the uniforms everyday except Friday when you can wear anything." Nishishi looked at the girls. Seeing that they are still listening, she continued.
"The school has rules. Just read this." Nishishi handed them their student handbooks. "Well, no weapons. Okay? We don't want to scare anyone, do we?" Nishishi
"I am going to tell you more about the president's daughter." Jurina paid full attention as she heard what Nishishi said. She was anxious to meet the daughter. The daughter's identity has been kept for a long time for her safety.
"Her name is Matsui Rena." Furukawa quickly looked at her side. Jurina has the same surname! Jurina noticed it too and raised her hand.
"Uhm, Matsui, you said?"
"Yes. Matsui. Rena's adopted."
"Oh."
Nishishi proceeded.
"She's older than Jurina by one year. She's 17. She's also your classmate." Nishishi nodded. "Her identity is unknown to her classmates. Don't dare tell her true identity or else, the plan will fail." The two nodded.
"Hey, Airi, Jurina...I believe on you guys. Whatever happens, we'll be here. And I'll be picking you up tomorrow at 6am." Nishishi spoke sincerely. She cares about the two, even though it was not physically obvious.
Airi smiled and gave Nishishi a hug. She whispered, "Fear not Yuka. We'll be alright." Nishishi gasped. How could Airi know...
Airi winked at her while Jurina just bowed at her and said, "Thank you." Then the two girls gathered their things and headed out.
However, Nishishi still pondered about how Airi knew her name. It's impossible..except if Airi knew her before she was a cleaner. Nevertheless, she brushed off the thought and got out of the room too.

In Mariko's case....
Mariko woke up because of a conversation. She heard two girls talking to each other while giggling. She opened her eyes and realizes that she was not in her room, she was in a hospital. Then she remembers what happened last night. She rubbed her eyes and saw Yuki approaching her.
"Good afternoon sleepyhead." Yuki said as she gave her a facetowel. She saw Haruna looking at her while giggling which made her embarrassed of how she looks.
"Uhh, good afternoon Kashiwagi-san." Yuki nodded and said, "Haruna will be discharged tonight.. Now I'll leave the two of you to talk." With that said, Yuki took her leave.
Mariko rose up from her sleeping position and sat at the nearby chair in Haruna's bed. She smiled at the girl and asked, "You doing okay?"
Haruna chuckled and answered, "Yeah, my head hurts occasionally but I can manage."
Mariko nodded. She ran out of things to ask or to say. The atmosphere went back to its awkward state. Mariko played with her shirt while thinking of something to say while Haruna was just staring at the ceiling. Mariko has always been good with conversing with people, but looks like this time, her powers ran out and left her speechless. But good thing she remembered about her car and the other woman's car.
"Hey Haruna, I got your car towed and got it fixed in the shop." Mariko was definitely nervous. What if Haruna will get mad at her? What if Haruna didn't get angry at her because she was under pain before?
"Oh. Thank you Shinoda-san." Haruna tried to bow her head but failed, which caused Mariko to rose quickly to assist her.
"Be careful.."
Haruna nodded and said sorry. "Uhm, I called the company last night. Yuki helped me. I got fired..as expected." Mariko got mad at herself for being irresponsible. Psh. She owe this girl a favor.
"Don't worry, I'll get you a job. Everything's my fault anyway." She tried to make the other girl happier which eventually succeeded.
"Oh, thank you then. But I live in Tokyo.."
"Don't fret, I'll let you use my apartment here in Nagoya. I live with my family anyway." Mariko assured the other girl. Somehow, inside her, she felt like what has happened was fate. Like she was summoned to help Haruna, to guide her, to take care of her.. That's why she vowed to do anything to help her.
"Thank you Mariko. Even if you don't know me, you still helped me. I'm sorry too if I bothered you."
"No, no. Everything's my fault anyway." Mariko shyly smiled and scratched her head. "I'm gonna get you out of here tonight. Anyway, I'm gonna get us something to eat first." Haruna nodded and Mariko waved good bye. She then headed to the cafeteria.
While walking in the hallway, she kept telling herself to calm down. The emotions were too damn high and she can't contain herself. She hasn't felt this way before.
Oh boy, I guess our Mariko here is in love.

Meanwhile, back in the mansion.
"Hey Jurina."
"What?"
"What is the acronym for following?"
"Ff."
Then Airi quickly said.
"Hooray!"
(Didn't get the joke? Ff Hooray. Which is like hephep hooray. Don't bother thinking about the joke, it's corny anyway.)
Jurina sighed for nth time. Airi kept cracking jokes which she don't find funny at all.
"Why are you my friend..."
Airi frowned and punched Jurina on her shoulder.
"Hey, I am your best friend."
Jurina sheepishly grinned and wrestled her best friend. But was cut shortly as Jurina's dad came in.
"Jurina, Airi. Good evening."
The two courteously stood up and bowed.
"Good evening dad."
"Good evening sir."
Jurina's dad always come home but he comes home late. Jurina was closer to him when she was just a kid. But now, they don't talk to much.
"Tomorrow's the first day of school. Why are the two of you still up?" He folded his arms in his chest.
"Uh, we were gonna sleep already..we just talked for a while." Jurina answered.
"Okay, good night." Yuasa turned his heels around and walked to his office. Jurina and Airi went upstairs. Airin didn't bother Jurina anymore and went to her own room after saying her good nights to Jurina.
As Jurina walked inside her room, she remembered Mariko. Where the hell could she be? Jurina thought. She was gonna find her but she's already sleepy. She lied on her bed and started to drift away.

Jurina had set her alarm clock for 5am but she woke up at 6'o clock in the morning. Nishishi's gonna pick them up at 7. For short, Jurina's late.
"Oh shit I forgot to pack! I forgot it was a dorm school!" Jurina hurriedly gathered all her clean clothes and other belongings and packed them in her luggage bag. Good thing Airi had placed Jurina's school supplies in the latter's bag. She looked at the time.
"6:15 am. Okay I got to go shower" She hit the showers and heard Airi shouting from the outside.
"Jurina! Nishishi's gonna be here at 7am! Get up already!" Airi's voice made her even more panicked. She didn't take long as usual and quickly got dressed. She remembered something that made her facepalmed her self "Oh, we have a school uniform." So she quickly changed and shuffled all over the place. She looked at the clock again. "6:45. Perfect." She came out all ready and met Airi downstairs.
Airi looked at her and laughed. "Why are you wearing your uniform?" Jurina frowned. "We were supposed to right?"
"Dummy, we're supposed to wear that at school. We're just going to have an orientation today. Didn't read the student handbook, huh?" Airi laughed at her and handed her a handbook that was given yesterday. Jurina got pissed and was going to change but a car honked outside.
"Jurina, no time to change! Nishishi's here!" Airi dragged Jurina's belongings and went outside. Jurina groaned at her self for not reading the student's handbook and for not waking up early.
Nishishi greeted the two as she helped them put their luggage on the trunk. Nishishi's car was a SUV. As soon as they finished, Yuka drove away.
Rukawa was about 2 hours away from the Matsui's Mansion. The ride was long and quiet. Airi was sketching in her sketchbook while Jurina was playing with Airi's phone. After 2 gruelling hours, they finally arrived.
The school was built in a mountain top. It had 4 buildings, 3 for the school and another 1 for the dormitory. It also had a wide space for sports and activities. As they entered the school premises, a lot of students were already there with their parents, bidding goodbye and excitingly reuniting with friends. Jurina got nervous all of a sudden.
Nishishi stopped the car and all of them got out. Airi got their luggage while Jurina just observed in awe.
"Wow." This is Jurina's first time in school. Surely, her expectations will become reality.
As they finish unloading their luggage, Nishishi said,
"Good luck you guys. I'm going to see you soon. You're on your own starting now. Be responsible and don't get in to trouble." Yuka embraced the two and nodded. As they saw Yuka's car drift away, they looked at each other and grinned. They walked towards the dorm building hand in hand. There were students at the school gate, greeting freshmen and welcoming students back,
"Welcome to Rukawa Girls High School!"
Oh. This is gonna be good.
