I haven't updated this in a while, and this chapter may be rushed a bit. If you've read the prologue and the first two chapters BEFORE the third chapter came out, I would recommend you reread them because I rewrote them. Or at least read chapter 2 again. They're now done on alternating POVs between Yuko and Rena with some mystery characters (who aren't actually much of a mystery). And if you could tell me some ideas for which member would be which animal that would be awesome c:
Chapter 3
Yuko's POV
I wonder how awesome we look right now. Yukirin, Rena-chan, Chiyuu, Jurinu and I riding Mayuyu through the fields of Akihabara University. What's more fabulous than that? Maybe if the alpaca had wings. Then would that be called a Pegapaca? Or if she had a horn, then it would be a Unipaca! If she had both, then it's probably an Alipaca. I'm getting way off topic here.
As I said before, the whole gang is riding this one alpaca in search for my lost cat Harunyan. It would make me really guilty if it turns out I really did lose that cat forever. That cat is of high priority in my life! Also Rena. She could get really jealous sometimes. Especially with my close relationship with Akimoto and Miichan.
You may be wondering, "Why did we have to hide our pets but Mayuyu can prance around all she wants?" Actually this university used to have some sort of Alpaca Alliance. After that had disbanded and the alpacas were sold to some circus, Yuki brought Mayuyu during the beginning of the year to try and revive it. No one joined in the end, but she was somehow allowed to let Mayuyu roam free in the fields. One time she actually brought her to class! That alpaca is really popular with the girls.
Ok, I should really talk about how our search is going so far. Yuki said she knows a surefire way to find any lost pet. Rena didn't really believe it would work, but I place all my trust to Yukirin that she finds my cat. The first place we needed to go to was the computer lab. On the way there we hid Chiyuu and Jurinu inside Rena's bag. We also passed by Tomochin. It seems that Rena couldn't handle the alpaca anymore, so she hopped off to return the brown mouse back to her owner.
What was weird was that other college students and professors look like an alpaca running through the halls was pretty normal. When we got down to the computers, Yuki made me wait outside with Mayuyu. She took a real long while in their, and when see came out she brought a big stack of printed papers and a stapler.
"What do you need that much paper for? Wait, don't tell me, you're trying to make a giant litter box to attract Harunyan to it!"
Yukirin chuckled. "Of course not. Even if that were my plan it probably wouldn't work."
"Then what is your plan?"
"Just watch. No hassle needed."
We mounted Mayuyu once more and rode her outside. Along the way Yuki passed out those papers she had to random students we passed.
"Missing cat! Reward is one alpaca ride to and from school! Call 1-800-PACA if found!"
"Woah, Yuki. Is it really okay to advertise this?"
"Yeah, why not? You know there aren't really any rules saying you can't bring your pet. Why do you think no one has complained to me about my means of transportation?" She pet the fluffy alpaca. "Now help me staple the rest of these on trees and whatnot."
After what seemed like five hours (it was actually only 50 minutes) of painful stapling under the hot sun, Yuki got a call on her cell. Y'know, when she first told me that her phone number was 1-800-PACA, I thought it was just a joke. Turns out it actually was.
"Who's calling? Are they calling for the missing cat?" Yuki ignored me and just said a few "Yeah"s into her phone. She closed it soon after.
"Good news!" She exclaimed "Someone said they saw Harunyan around the courtyard.
I fist-pumped. "Sweet."
"But she's stuck inside a rabbit's tunnel system."
"Is she really? Like, stuck in deep or half in and half out?"
"Stuck in deep. Real deep. Also, for some reason they said that there's also a black and white hamster down there." When I heard black and white hamster, I immediately thought of Sae-chan.
Now why would she also be stuck there, and with a cat nonetheless. I shrugged that off as I went to get Rena to go with me to the courtyard. I found her striking up a conversation with Tomochin about mice and puppies. I didn't want to interrupt them, so I eavesdropped for a while and accidentally forgot about Harunyan for a minute."
"Rena-chan, Tomochin. How's it going?" I asked as I walked up to them.
"Ahh, I'm really grateful to you, Yuko. I thought I lost my Chiyuu. Turns out you found her for me." I had to think for a second.
"You lost your courage and wisdom?"
Rena laughed. "Baka, she's talking about her mouse. The one you found in your bag?"
"Oh yeah! Speaking of mice, I thought of Sae-chan. And speaking of Sae-chan. I thought of Harunyan." I stood their a few seconds. "Speaking of Harunyan, Yukirin and I were able to find her! Well, we didn't really find them but we know where they are."
"Really? Well let's go. The better we find her the better it'll be for you." With that we waved to Tomochin and set of for the courtyard.

???' POV
"Oi, oi, oi! That hurts! Stop your kicking, will you?"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for nyat being as small as you! I wouldn't be kicking so much if the meeting was nyat inside a darn rabbit's hole."
"Well why did you get out in front of me? I should've been the one to get out first. How were you able to get inside in the first place?"
"I wasn't." The short-tempered midget behind me scratched at my tail. "Stop it, don't be so annyaing. I'll be out soon enyaugh." I started wiggling and kicking and trying to paw the dirt from around me to loosen up. "I wonder why the meeting was nyat held at the alpaca shed as usual. Or even behind the pet shop."
"Because Mayuyu's owner stayed their overnight. We don't need to be exposed anytime soon."
"Exposed. I still don't get why we're in hiding. Isn't our goal still to 'appeal' to our ownyars?"
"I'm honestly not sure. They said we're still not ready for it."
"I'm itching for some fun already! How much longer?"
"Hold up kitty-cat, you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Sounds like your owner."
When I looked ahead and out of the tunnel, I saw a familiar dimple-faced person.
"Yuuchan!" I meowed.
