She closes her eyes and I reach my pocket to call Kuu so he can pick us up. But, there is nothing in it. It's not in my hoodie neither. Shit, I left it at home... !
Suddenly my eyes go weird, I feel dizzy and I need to sit on the floor for a few minutes. My shirt is wet and I still feel a huge pain on my chest. I feel like I'm gonna faintin one second, but I can't. I need to carry Atsuko to an hospital. The nearest must be already far away from here but I don't know if she's seriously hurt or not so I need to go now.

She already asleep when I raise and carry her in my arms. I can't take the motorcycle, it's too dangerous for her, she could fall and I can't hold her and drive at the same time, especially on this meanders road. I'm gonna have to walk...

I can't think about nothing else than walk, it's taking me so much concentration and strenght to do it. Maybe I lost too much blood because I don't feel anything Atsuko is not a weight in my arms. I can't feel my arms anymore...
The silent is really heavy... I wish I could walk like this forever with Atsuko in my arms...
But... I don't have strenght anymore... I have to carry on... What if I can't... ?
She's so beautiful, sleeping like this... This is all my fault... I will never break into her life anymore for her sake. It's all my fault...

« Mister... ? Mister ? »
« ... »
« What happened ? You're hurt ! »
« Take Atsuko. Take care of her... »

I can't even see who's talking to me. I think we arrived at the hospital. Feel like it's been ages...

« A-Atsuko ? » I whisper. I'm thirsty.
« Kai ? Riku, Kai is awake ! Kai ? »

I hear Riku's laught and I slowly open my eyes.
« Oh man, it's about time, I almost thought you were dead ! »
« Shut up Kuu ! » says Riku.
« Atsuko... ? »
« Already taking about her ? You're really into her^^ She's fine »
« Great... « I try to smile « Where is she ? What room ? »
« She's at home Kai, it's been 2 weeks since »
« 2 weeks ? Why am I here then ? »
« Look at your chest man » sighs Kuu.
I lift my shirt and see a huge scar on my chest, starting from my pecs until my abs, like a / .
« What is this ??! »
« ...You fought with the psycho, he attacked you with his kife and tadaa... It was really bad Kai, you walked until here with your chest deeply cut. The doctors don't even know you could have stay on your feet and carry her. You lost a lot of blood, you could have died. »

« I didn't think it was that bad. I mean it hurted but... I had to save her, bring her here so I tried to ignore the pain... » I frown.
« See why I am jealous ? » says Kuu looking at Riku. « Kai is a hero, there is no way we could be better than him now... »

The nurses are agree to let me go after I showed her that my scar was perfectly illed, since 2 weeks. Riku is driving us home with his car.

Riku nods and 15 linutes later he parks the car in front of it.

He starts the car groaning and drive till home but just stop the car without turning off the contact.
« Go ! »
« And you ? »
« Later ! Enjoy ! »

I don't get it, they're weird. But I don't care, I want an hot shower and eat something big. I come in the flat and sigh, it's good to be home.

I was about to go to the kitchen when I see Atsuko asleep on my sofa.
« A-Atsuko ? Atsuko ? »
What is she doing here ?
« Hm ? » she opens her eyes, sees me and jumps on me.
«KAI ! Kai, you're back ! How are you ?! »
« Atsuko... » she smells so good... I was so afraid to lose her...
« Kai... You're back... » she starts crying on my neck.
« Are you okay ? Are you hurt ? »
« No... I was so afraid ! You could have died ! You are so stupid... »
« Atsuko » I say raising his shin so she looks at me. « I'm sorry, it was my fault »
« What ? NO ! You saved me ! Kai, you carried me, you fought for me... » YOU COULD HAVE DIED !! » she screams before weakly punch me.
« Atsuko » I whisper » I'm here...I'm here... »
She stops punching me, big tears on her cheeks
« Baka... »
I embrace her.
« How are you, Atsuko ? »
« I'm fine. I don't remember much... And I wasn't hurt, just drugged »
« Good. I'm relieved »
« ...Show me. »
« It's okay Atsuko, forget about this »
« Show me please »
I sigh and take my shirt off. She looks at the car.
« It's so big... and you carried me all this way... »
She touches it with her fingers, it makes me shiver.
« Atsuko ? »
« Hm ? »
« Would you...go on a date with me ? »
« Eh ?! » she openswild eyes.
« I have the permission to have a date with you. Akimoto-san allowed me to... I'm sorry if you think it's too soon or inappropriate... »

She begins to smile through her tears, she's so beautiful... My heart bleed imagining what thi guy could have done to her. Such a great girl...

« Kai ? »
« Hm ? »
« What are you thinking of ? »
« ...I was just... I couldn't have forgive myself if this guy... How could he think this about you, about you all, this is insane...§ »
« Kai... »
« I was so angry, I was hitting him, I couldn't stop... I could have kill him if you... »
« Kai » she says touching my cheeks. This is not your fault, you did the right thing. »

« I know. I'm not afraid of you » she smiles gently. « You saved my life. So yes, I want to go on a date with you!^^ »

I close my eyes listening to those words, her hand on my cheek... This feels so good.
« Thank you, Atsuko. » I sigh.

No, I didn't really give up this fic, but I was writing everyday and I was 100% in the story, I was honestly drowing in it. This is weird but I have to be careful and take the time to realize this is just a story, don't get involve too much. So I retired for while, I surely will come back and continue soon. Please be patient and thank you for reading my work.
