Finding Fukuoka Chapter 4 12/25/2014

Chapter 1- The Man

He was called “the man.”

There were many reasons why had been kicked out of six schools.  Rumors ranged from impregnating girls, having sex with the teacher, and the all-time best one was causing the female population to go into an all-out brawl.

However, the main reason was he had been concentrating on girls rather than homework.  The teachers thought he played around too much.  The administrators hated him for the lack of discipline.  The rest hated him for being attractive and causing fights.

Yet, all would have been known about him if he hadn’t had a charm to gather mice like the pied piper.  The name itself was lore among the Fukuoka area, Matsuoka Natsu.

The story itself was shrouded in mystery.  Natsu’s parents had taught him well but the trouble started when he developed a sense of talking to girls without fear.  He didn’t mind talking to them but slowly they opened up to him as he learned the problems they faced.  Natsu couldn’t be an advice giver but he listened well and asked simple questions in a forgiving manner.

The years went by and eventually he had been crowded that he developed a schedule that was probably packed the whole day.  He was able to catch on to many things but it took one to swallow his heart whole.  That one opened up everything for him as she gave him gifts every day and blocked her rivals out.  The day he had declined the gift twenty-seven times before the girl decided to call him in for sexual harassment.  The evidence was underwear in the locker as he hadn’t looked into the gifts.

The next two schools caught him for cheating which wasn’t fair for him as he was trying to get something from the floor and tossed to the desk next to him.  The teacher called him up as both times he held his palms upwards in confusion.  However, the next two occasions as they had accepted him back because of teacher error, he placed himself into the firestorm of being a player with other girls.

The fourth and recent school hadn’t liked him because of where he was from but someone with a background would help the school get money from the donors but one teacher had a mark for him to eventually drop out but Natsu had the final say by dropping him to the floor with a right hook.

Natsu dropped his head as he had the sixth expulsion from school.  He had enough credits to drop out but his goal was to finish on time.  With all the pleas, he had been accepted to the fourth school with ease but the population wasn’t the best for him with many of them being rowdy or slow but they had been promoted as one of the elite teams with many of their students attending Todai.

He was excited yet he acknowledged the black cloud growing over him.  Natsu had a day to get prepared and decided to ride out with his bicycle to the nearby coffee shop.  The ringing of the doorbell got everyone to turn to him before they all turned back to their items.  His eyes scanned the area before taking a seat when a female had stepped in to take his order.

“Milk Tea, strong tea with little ice.”

Natsu placed his head on the table when the vibration caught him by surprise.  He glanced up to the short, black-haired fellow taking the seat across of him.

“Natsu-kun… going back soon?”

“Rin… I have to if I want to get the certificate.”  Natsu answered as the guy leaned forward.

“Night school.”  He replied as Natsu rolled his eyes.

Sashihara Rin discovered him out of the blue after the third expulsion as he proceeded to drown himself in milk tea when he picked up a conversation about the art and Natsu had been blunt about his situation when a girl came to his table, blocking Rin away from him.  Rin himself wasn’t the best role model but it was close enough to make the right decisions.

“I still have time.  One last semester and I’m free from school.”  Natsu informed the other male as the milk tea came from him.  Rin ordered a milk tea from himself with the boba as Natsu took a sip of his drink.  The smooth, milky consistency covered his throat while his mind had pondered over what the school would be like and how the situation was over there before turning to see Rin’s hand smacked in front of him.

“Hey!”

“You were thinking of the girls, right?”  Rin smiled.  “Admit it, Nats.”

Natsu rarely had the thought about thinking about them because they would come naturally to him.  He didn’t mind at first but when every battle seemed to wage war against the others, he despised it and would walk to the sanctuary where no one would bother him.  The librarian also thought he was cute, reminding her of a grandson that had gone to Todai years ago.

Rin glanced at his phone and placed his side of the bill down grabbing the drink and running away with the container.  Natsu smiled at the waitress as she gave him the plastic cup and paid for the missing cup at hand.  He wished for a normal life in school and no one would seem to crowd him about anything.  The milk tea had comforted him as the café slowly winded down to the evening and watched the owner turn the sign before taking off into the city.

The cool breeze was a nice sign, leaving his hands in his pocket as many of the fellow peers were running around talking wildly of the winter wonderland.  He glanced around until someone had passed by him at eye level before his body took a tumble with someone on top of him.

“Can you watch…?”

Natsu’s heart stopped mid-beat.  He couldn’t really explain what had happened but her brown eyes and the pouty lips had made his heart jump before he moved his hands away.  She picked herself off the ground before Natsu could as he dusted his backside.

“He stole my wallet…”  She said as Natsu held his head in his hand.

“I’m sorry.”  He apologized when another female grabbed her arm as she glanced toward Natsu.

“Let’s file a report!”  She said as they walked away.

Natsu couldn’t believe it had happened but his dream had come true as the scent of strawberries lasted in his nose for the night.

Well you know how things are when it comes to this XD

Natsu the easily-misunderstood guy. How befitting.

Isn't it always XD

Chapter 2- The Princess

"Let's go out tonight, Chiichan!" The usually happy Kodama Haruka suggested, seeing her friend lying on the bed with her eyes to the ceiling.

"I don't really want to." She sighed. "It seems too soon."

Anai Chihiro has always felt there was a guy for her and selling herself wasn't hard but to agree with a person was harder than expected. She could count the dates and all have managed to fail in front of her.

It wasn't seeing the bad setups or how stingy they were but none had given her a reason to let them take over. She grew frustrated over the boys she had met and was placing the last piece down as she would take a break.

"You can just be with me..."

Chihiro had heard it so many times to only be asked in for a date. She would argue to only let Haruppi have her way. It was depressing that she couldn't enjoy it but if she could find a way to stop the bickering, it would make it less grueling to face the problem again.

"We are only going to the cafe."

Chihiro had her doubts that she wouldn't be hit on. It lingered like a spider above her head as Haruppi had taken her across the town to a narrow space between two buildings before knocking three times on the wooden door.

"Cwush." Haruppi spoke before it opened up to a dark place before the lights turned on to a room with three tables with two seats each, forming a triangle in the middle.

"Welcome Kodama-san." The person bowed with a ponytail with the feminine look. "Is this your guest?"

"Yesh!" She said excitedly as they were escorted to table near the bar.

The thick smell of cooked meat filled the room immediately as they were given a bottle of cider on ice and two tall glasses. Chihiro hadn't expected a place to be hidden as the two were eye to eye for the first time by candlelight.

"Where did you find this place?" Chihiro asked as she pulled the cider from the bucket and tugged at the cork.

"I was wondering around and someone had asked to be her date. I agreed because it was something new. She was actually quite cute and all I knew was what she was telling me so they gave me a word if I had a date and I used it only once before." Haruppi explained as the waitress came to pull out the cork for her partner.

Chihiro grew red as she was handed back the bottle, pouring the glasses with Haruppi holding it steady for her. She positioned the bottle back into the ice as Chihiro raised up the glass.

"For being single!" She roared before drinking the liquid in one shot. Chiichan was surprised that she hadn't noticed it before but luckily it was non-alcoholic. She poured another one while Haruppi had her glass in hand swishing it around.

"What is the first dish?" Chihiro asked as the smell caught her attention.

"Usually a grilled shrimp... I think rock." Haruppi thought as the sizzling plate came to them as four pieces were placed on each corner of the plate.

Chihiro poked at the orange item and picked it up to the small plate in front of her. She was a bit hesitant with the shrimp head but cutting into the body, the meat was a perfect white color as it oozed out a trail of liquid. She peeled off the skin and popped the molten hot meat into her mouth. She fanned her mouth for a bit before chewing at it to make it smaller. The taste filled her taste buds quickly as the bite was as quick as the swallow.

She saw Haruppi having the same struggle as a glass of cider had cooled off their charred mouths before grabbing another piece for each other. Going through the debacle, Chihiro couldn't help but snicker as Haruppi made it a struggle to fight off the hot piece.

The next course was the steak that had been lingering in their minds since the start of the meal. The piece was about the size of their hand with a medley of vegetables to the side, steamed and drizzled with a warm vinaigrette.

The two cut into their steaks showing a pale pink to them before placing it into their mouths. The succulent taste overtook their palettes, giving each other satisfying looks across the table. It wasn't unusual to enjoy the meal with her friend but how she appeared with candlelight had brought a different perspective to her mind.

"Desert is next." Haruppi informed her partner as licked her lips of the residue.

Chihiro was quite amazed with the first two courses that the third was the highest of expectations as a glass filled with a thick, white pudding lined with orange glitter. Chihiro took the first look and grew amazed by the dish. The waitress gave them their spoons.

"This is a passion fruit panna cotta." She informed them before each took a spoonful of the item. It held perfectly on the spoon before letting it melt in the mouths.

Both glared at each other with eyes wide open as the combination of tart and sweet flavors made their tastebuds dance for minutes before taking another bite, savoring the flavor.

"This is so good." Haruppi cooed as Chihiro nodded in agreement.

It seemed to be a pity that the desert was gone before they realized it. Filling their bodies, the two grinned as Chihiro took out her side of the bill before Haruppi picked up the rest.

It seemed weird that no one else knew of the place. The awkwardness of the silence led to her thinking something must be a downside to the restaurant. Chihiro wanted to wait for the next couple to determine what was up but Haruppi led them back out to the streets.

"Is there something I should know about the restaurant?" She asked when her weight went forward and the person running away from them holding something.

Haruppi began her run as Chihiro had followed behind her. The person weaved through as Chihiro seemed to get the path as she saw the person and bulldozed him to the ground as Haruppi stopped as it took the corner.

Chihiro saw him rattled as he muttered something and she quickly gave her explanation before Haruppi pulled her away.

"Let's file a report."

Chihiro saw his eyes and the intensity seemed to catch her as she was escorted to nearest box and report the wallet as Chihiro saw his face again.

"I wished he wasn't there..." She sighed as they wrapped up their report and headed home, shaken but stable for the night.

That'll be explained... soon enough

Chapter 3- The Girl Next Door

He felt lightheaded, delighted by the sight although her face seemed like a stamp that was placed on a piece of paper. Natsu felt the knob as he turned to the right with her body leaning into the wall.

"Player? I assume another date?" She snarled at him with the distinct smirk.

"Madoka... Don't you have homework?" Natsu spat. "Honor students don't stay out late."

He watched her closely under the dim lighting. Natsu could tell it stung her badly. It was his mission to break the cool beauty's demeanor. There was no successful thing in his life until she broke down.

"I do... But I heard your footsteps and thought you had someone coming over." She sighed. "No luck I guess~"

Natsu had remembered many things about Madoka and especially how she had desperately wanting to break the honor student mold. He had admitted that the only way was to take on a bad boy boyfriend.

However, he would have entertained the idea if she had opened herself up more. Natsu entered the apartment as she returned to the apartment.

"Mado-chan! Was Natsu outside?" The voice escaped from the room as her eyes were as wide as light bulbs.

"Aoitan, he'll never like you." She said bluntly. "Even if he did, I wouldn't allow it."

"Aww~ You would never allow me to date him. He's sooo cute and nice." Aoi retorted.

"Just go to sleep."

As Aoi retreated to her room, Madoka opened up her book and stared at the page in front of her. She had to avoid the issue altogether but somehow it came down to him. The hesitation seemed normal but the more she had thought about him, the more it was an obvious consideration that he was jumping around schools.

"There has to be somebody who would be willing to take away the feeling." Madoka muttered to herself as the words were becoming a muddled mess of goop.

She got up from the chair and took her book to the bedroom. Madoka had the tendencies to reconsider her thoughts as she placed it aside. She slipped under the sheets and tugged down on her shorts, freeing up her fingers to venture. Guilt wasn't the only thing that arose in her mind as every dirty word escaped and comforted her until she rested in her bed with the expulsion of her frustrations.

The sun awoken her as she knew the guilty feeling from the night before. It all started as a joke from a senpai that it was a way to relieve pressure before finals. Madoka grew curious as the first thought was the fact that why anyone would do it and then why she hadn't done it earlier.

Then, it was done on a daily basis when she became overly stressed to the point that school had become her favorite spot to do the deed. Madoka hadn't had too many other thoughts until Natsu came into mind. Her eyes couldn't escape his appearance. Also, the image of his package. She sighed every time she would run into him. Then, the bickering was her shield to prevent her from going too far into dreamland.

Madoka scanned through the book and took out her composition book for her notes. It was something that she had grown comforted to. Everything was in the book and filled it with all the notes in class until a new one was needed. She had dated the book and leave it to the side for reference with tags of the different classes. Madoka was always like that and then just one thought would make her break into a shiver. It felt like an itch she had to scratch and followed through as the temptation was to challenge her tolerance and then she let everything come to her when the door opened as she curled up seeing her sister's eyes staring at her.

"Are you okay?" Aoi asked.

"I'm fine... Just a bad dream." She grinned as her fingers were soaked from the pleasuring and wiped it on the blanket as the spot was much bigger than expected.

Aoi skipped out of the room with the door closed behind her. Madoka grabbed the sheets from her bed and crumpled them to the floor. She slipped on her shorts and grabbed the extra laundry bag from the closet and stuffed it into the bag before hauling it out to the hallway. She turned out of the apartment as the wolffish grin caught her by surprise.

"Laundry day?" Natsu asked as she dragged it by him.

"My sheets were kind of sticky so I'm washing them because my parents had left for a trip." Madoka explained.

"Let me help you carry it." Natsu smiled as he lifted the other end.

Madoka his her face as she led the way to the elevator to the basement. Natsu knew his way around and dropped it off to the ground as he gave a short wave to her. Madoka let out a grunt as she quietly thanked him. She paid out the detergent and usage fee before stuffing the sheets into the washer.

She pressed her hip pocket and rolled her eyes. Madoka walked up to the door and cursed herself for letting him take advantage of her. The only option was to wait for another person so she could run up when Natsu returned with his bag of laundry.

"Can you... stay here?" She breathes as Natsu nodded.

Madoka ran up the five flights of stairs and knocked on the door as the doe-eyed sister handed her the set of keys and ran back down to the room where Natsu had placed his load next to hers.

"Why?"

"There's only two." He pointed out as the other one had a sign over it. "It doesn't matter if it is next to yours."

Madoka grunted as she took a seat with Natsu sitting on the other side with his phone in hand. She could have ran back up for it but it seemed too much of a hassle to just get it for nothing. She stared at the washer as it looked at the sea on a rough day.

"You should loosen up a bit." Natsu muttered as Madoka's ears perked up.

"I'm great as I am." She announced as Natsu slanted his eyes.

"I guess you should have boyfriends lined up right?"

Madoka knew she couldn't play at his level and just turned away as the barren walls brought a chill to the underdressed girl. She couldn't admit that the concern shouldn't be on him but how ignorant she was about having her temptation overtaking her needs.

"No, actually I'm not concerned about that." Madoka snarled. "Don't you still need your certificate from high school?"

He nodded. She wanted something smart or a wise crack but the expectation fell short as she reloaded up the gun again. "What about a girlfriend?"

His head turned and flashed a smile. "Why it would concern you?"

Madoka saw it fly over his head and landed on the other side as the smile, a despicable one, was given to her. She had no other ammunition and sat there quietly with her arms crossed across her chest.

"Why didn't you get a jacket?" Natsu shook his head as he placed it over her body. "You know how cold it gets down here."

Madoka knew he was right and the jacket with the essence of him made her cautious but she had to consider that he wasn't a bad person but just a womanizer at best.

"Thanks."

Going to love that when Madoka gets caught XD

Chapter 4- The Little Sister

Aoi returned to her room with a smirk on her face. She knew many things about Madoka and the one reason why she hated Natsu.

He was exactly the man she had dreamt.

Aoi wasn't a blood relative but was adopted when her parents had died when she was two. Madoka's parents were nice and were responsible for her during that night.

She had been told of the accident and let her emotions out. Aoi hadn't been the type to hide it and especially how successful Madoka had been in the classroom but she was quite good at attracting boys.

There was only one for her.

Matsuoka Natsu.

Natsu was the type to not see Aoi but she was crazy about him. Especially because it drove her sister crazy. However, there was something that she hadn't known and the main reason for the change.

She had remembered that Madoka was a bit looser until the one night when she came come late with her parents. She heard yelling and cried to sleep. The next day, it was quiet. Aoi spoke up about the only thing that she could and Madoka struck it down like an arrow.

Aoi wasn't sure but with the opportunity, she could sneak in after her last return. She turned to see the door before walking inside to her barren bed. Rarely, she cleaned her sheets and it must have been dirty. The drawer was open and dug through it with a purple book in her underwear drawer.

Aoi saw it open to the bookmarked page and slowly read the entry. Her eyes scanned every word. The innocence seemed to fulfill until the end. Aoi felt her heart drop and closed the book to put it back into the drawer. She turned to find no one at the door and then walked back to her room.

It tugged her heart how Natsu could have been the one for her but the truth was seeing a scar was something that could probably turn him away. Aoi smiled as the leverage was set in her favor.

She glanced down at the project and threw into a bag. Aoi felt intrigued about her sister that she heard the front door and ran out.

"Washing?"

"Yes Aoi... It was dirty." Madoka stated as she carried the dried items back into the room.

Aoi walked out and glanced to see Natsu at his door, hearing her heart pounding like a drum. She walked up with his eyes turning to him.

"Natsu-san, good afternoon." She greeted with a toothy smile.

"Ah! Aoitan... Nice seeing you here. Your sister just returned to the apartment." Natsu pointed out as she nodded.

"I know... Do you have... a bit of free time?"

Natsu glanced at his phone and nodded. Aoi rushed into the open door and saw his neat apartment. He was on borrowed time with the apartment as his parents gave him a loan to live on his own until he graduated.

"It's nice." Aoi glanced around and plopped onto his couch as he dropped his clothes onto the table.

"What do you want to talk about?" Natsu took a seat on the table as she flashed him a grin.

"I think Madoka likes you."

Natsu didn't have to know that. It seemed obvious but he was also thinking that it was something deeper that no one else would know but seeing Aoi's grin, it wasn't good to hear it.

"It's up to her." Natsu scoffed. "She has to decide what's good for her."

"Don't you think she would be a nice girlfriend?" Aoi sung as Natsu leaned in.

"Exactly why are you here?"

Aoi sat back in her seat as the question posed to her seemed to throw her off the line of questioning. She showed her the bit of her that would make the boys interested in her with the fake pout.

"Don't you want me here?" She threw it out as Natsu forced a smile upon his face.

"There's a reason why and the thing is because you like me." Natsu licked his lips.

Aoi's eyes grew wide. She suddenly saw the webbing around her body with his hungry eyes showing its intent. Being the younger of the two, Aoi was the more delicate one and probably had felt protected by the others. Natsu broke the stare with a laugh.

"Aoitan. The childish act won't work on me. Isn't there someone more suitable? At least who you can play the puppy love."

Aoi crossed her arms. She couldn't let the opportunity slip away especially when Madoka wouldn't react. Aoi moved up to the seat where Natsu was at as she met up with his eyes.

"I wouldn't lie to you." She said softly. "Madoka wouldn't trust you because..."

"She had a bad experience?" Natsu spat it out as Aoi was caught wide-eyed.

"Don't dig into your sister's past. If you want a boyfriend, find someone who is suitable for you."

Aoi dropped to the ground as the words seemed to bring the final blow to the fight. She wanted to say that Madoka wasn't always the model student but Natsu was ahead of her information. Maybe Madoka had given a bit of insight to him, she thought.

"Just go home."

Aoi ran out and went into the apartment as Madoka was still staring at her book when she glanced up. Madoka wasn't fazed by her tears. That was normal because she had certain things coming to her but she came up and wrapped her arms around her sister.

"Did Natsu reject you?" She asked softly as Aoi nodded. "He told me you were an easy read and gave me an answer to cheer you up."

She walked back to the table and grabbed the piece of paper to hand it over to Aoi. She wiped her eyes before she managed to grab the paper. There was a bunch of numbers on it.

"Natsu heard that someone had a crush on you so he asked him for his number." Madoka explained as she wrapped her arms around her sister.

"Why?" She muttered.

"Natsu has been thinking of someone as of late so he knows that you don't want to be chasing someone who wouldn't have a chance." Madoka grinned as Aoi ran off to her room.

She dialed the number and pressed the phone up to her ear.  Her stomach had churned as the phone rang.  It started to feel it wouldn’t pick up until the voice caught her by surprise.

“Ii-kun?”

“Yes!  Aoitan… it is you, right?”  The warmth of his voice got to her as Aoi wasn’t sure why Natsu had known this.

“It is.  I’m sorry for rejecting you before.”  She said in a low voice.  “I wouldn’t mind the café date.”

“Aoitan… it would be nice to do that.”

She hung up and switched to the text on her phone to iron the details but she had been truly happy that Natsu was being a great friend but still the guilt of liking him was still there and hoped it would be a dream to have one date with him.
