Maaaan, player Natsu on the move. And Madoka's stress reliever lol. Almost got caught by Aoi, eh? :p
Going to love that when Madoka gets caught
Chapter 4- The Little SisterAoi returned to her room with a smirk on her face. She knew many things about Madoka and the one reason why she hated Natsu.
He was exactly the man she had dreamt.
Aoi wasn't a blood relative but was adopted when her parents had died when she was two. Madoka's parents were nice and were responsible for her during that night.
She had been told of the accident and let her emotions out. Aoi hadn't been the type to hide it and especially how successful Madoka had been in the classroom but she was quite good at attracting boys.
There was only one for her.
Matsuoka Natsu.
Natsu was the type to not see Aoi but she was crazy about him. Especially because it drove her sister crazy. However, there was something that she hadn't known and the main reason for the change.
She had remembered that Madoka was a bit looser until the one night when she came come late with her parents. She heard yelling and cried to sleep. The next day, it was quiet. Aoi spoke up about the only thing that she could and Madoka struck it down like an arrow.
Aoi wasn't sure but with the opportunity, she could sneak in after her last return. She turned to see the door before walking inside to her barren bed. Rarely, she cleaned her sheets and it must have been dirty. The drawer was open and dug through it with a purple book in her underwear drawer.
Aoi saw it open to the bookmarked page and slowly read the entry. Her eyes scanned every word. The innocence seemed to fulfill until the end. Aoi felt her heart drop and closed the book to put it back into the drawer. She turned to find no one at the door and then walked back to her room.
It tugged her heart how Natsu could have been the one for her but the truth was seeing a scar was something that could probably turn him away. Aoi smiled as the leverage was set in her favor.
She glanced down at the project and threw into a bag. Aoi felt intrigued about her sister that she heard the front door and ran out.
"Washing?"
"Yes Aoi... It was dirty." Madoka stated as she carried the dried items back into the room.
Aoi walked out and glanced to see Natsu at his door, hearing her heart pounding like a drum. She walked up with his eyes turning to him.
"Natsu-san, good afternoon." She greeted with a toothy smile.
"Ah! Aoitan... Nice seeing you here. Your sister just returned to the apartment." Natsu pointed out as she nodded.
"I know... Do you have... a bit of free time?"
Natsu glanced at his phone and nodded. Aoi rushed into the open door and saw his neat apartment. He was on borrowed time with the apartment as his parents gave him a loan to live on his own until he graduated.
"It's nice." Aoi glanced around and plopped onto his couch as he dropped his clothes onto the table.
"What do you want to talk about?" Natsu took a seat on the table as she flashed him a grin.
"I think Madoka likes you."
Natsu didn't have to know that. It seemed obvious but he was also thinking that it was something deeper that no one else would know but seeing Aoi's grin, it wasn't good to hear it.
"It's up to her." Natsu scoffed. "She has to decide what's good for her."
"Don't you think she would be a nice girlfriend?" Aoi sung as Natsu leaned in.
"Exactly why are you here?"
Aoi sat back in her seat as the question posed to her seemed to throw her off the line of questioning. She showed her the bit of her that would make the boys interested in her with the fake pout.
"Don't you want me here?" She threw it out as Natsu forced a smile upon his face.
"There's a reason why and the thing is because you like me." Natsu licked his lips.
Aoi's eyes grew wide. She suddenly saw the webbing around her body with his hungry eyes showing its intent. Being the younger of the two, Aoi was the more delicate one and probably had felt protected by the others. Natsu broke the stare with a laugh.
"Aoitan. The childish act won't work on me. Isn't there someone more suitable? At least who you can play the puppy love."
Aoi crossed her arms. She couldn't let the opportunity slip away especially when Madoka wouldn't react. Aoi moved up to the seat where Natsu was at as she met up with his eyes.
"I wouldn't lie to you." She said softly. "Madoka wouldn't trust you because..."
"She had a bad experience?" Natsu spat it out as Aoi was caught wide-eyed.
"Don't dig into your sister's past. If you want a boyfriend, find someone who is suitable for you."
Aoi dropped to the ground as the words seemed to bring the final blow to the fight. She wanted to say that Madoka wasn't always the model student but Natsu was ahead of her information. Maybe Madoka had given a bit of insight to him, she thought.
"Just go home."
Aoi ran out and went into the apartment as Madoka was still staring at her book when she glanced up. Madoka wasn't fazed by her tears. That was normal because she had certain things coming to her but she came up and wrapped her arms around her sister.
"Did Natsu reject you?" She asked softly as Aoi nodded. "He told me you were an easy read and gave me an answer to cheer you up."
She walked back to the table and grabbed the piece of paper to hand it over to Aoi. She wiped her eyes before she managed to grab the paper. There was a bunch of numbers on it.
"Natsu heard that someone had a crush on you so he asked him for his number." Madoka explained as she wrapped her arms around her sister.
"Why?" She muttered.
"Natsu has been thinking of someone as of late so he knows that you don't want to be chasing someone who wouldn't have a chance." Madoka grinned as Aoi ran off to her room.
She dialed the number and pressed the phone up to her ear. Her stomach had churned as the phone rang. It started to feel it wouldn’t pick up until the voice caught her by surprise.
“Ii-kun?”
“Yes! Aoitan… it is you, right?” The warmth of his voice got to her as Aoi wasn’t sure why Natsu had known this.
“It is. I’m sorry for rejecting you before.” She said in a low voice. “I wouldn’t mind the café date.”
“Aoitan… it would be nice to do that.”
She hung up and switched to the text on her phone to iron the details but she had been truly happy that Natsu was being a great friend but still the guilt of liking him was still there and hoped it would be a dream to have one date with him.
