Gradually part 1
I Matsui Rena will graduate from SKEThat was what was heard on the radio ANN tonight, Jurina was laying in her bed and listening to the radio while silently crying.
It was too late, whatever she tried in every possible way to prevent her from graduating she couldn’t do anything about it.
The reason behind her breakdown during sousenkyo was one of many things that relates to Rena and her graduation announcement,
which no one knew, it was the agreement the only 2 of them had.
-3 Months ago-One day Jurina happened to pass by the staff room and hears people talk, they were all staff and there was also Yuasa, nothing out of the ordinary Jurina though, until she heard another familiar voice, it was Rena.
“We have settled the month of your graduation Rena, it will be in August but we haven’t settled the date yet and about the announcement please do it after the sousenkyo, it’s too early to announce it after Airi,Nishishi and Neesan just graduated , if it’s okey for you Rena” Yuasa said, his eyes were a little bit teary.
“I understand, graduation is not an easy topic, the fans probably haven’t properly recovered from it yet. The time has come for me to move on, I can’t contribute to SKE anymore because I’ve given my all, thank you all for everything.” Rena said
“What is this about?” Jurina thought, “Is Rena going to graduate?” The shock hit her like a wave and she decided to intervene. Jurina hastily open the door and almost ran into the room while scaring all the people in there for they were clearly jumping. Jurina didn’t cared and went straight to Rena and asked.
“Rena, are you really going to graduate?”
“Jurina, I’ve been pondering about this for over 2 years already.”
“No Rena you can’t do it yet! Please! Just another year and I promise I’ll be stronger until then. “
“But I’ve already talked to the staff and Akimoto sensei about it besides you’re turning 18 now and I’m sure that you will lead SKE into a better future even without me Jurina.”
"But you haven't announced it yet right? Even so there is a small chance that you might change you mind?" A small hope was filled in her eyes as Rena just apologised to the staffs and bowed to Yuasa and walked away, leaving Jurina crying. Yuasa patted her shoulder lightly and said "Let her shine in her own way"
Yuasa's words struck Jurina still, she couldn't understand, wasn't Rena shining? To her Rena is like a shining star, it didn't matter if it was at the stage or events. Jurina didn't felt complete without her shining star.
3 months ago Jurina was desperate, she tried every possible way to make Rena change her mind but it was in vain. Why won’t Rena see that she needed her? Jurina has turned 18 but despite her age she’s still young in mind and having so much pressure is taking toll on her. Whenever Jurina feels exhausted, she would message Rena on LINE and tell her about things that happens, for a moment Jurina would feel relieved to just forget about the pressure she had.
The rumours about they being in bad terms were not true, just because they don’t talk much openly when in front of their friends or fans doesn’t mean they don’t talk or message each other in their free time.
“If I get 1st rank in the senbatsu will you stay in SKE for another year Rena?”
“It's that a little bit too high Jurina?” Rena's eyebrow furrowed.
“Well okey not first rank but maybe 3rd? If there’s a miracle I want it to happen and I’ll try my best to appeal to many fans as I can, just you wait.”
Rena was thinking for a while before answered. “Tell you what, if you get into top 3 I’ll reconsider about graduation.”
Jurina beamed and asked “Seriously? Then I will do my best!” As Jurina shot a fighting pose it was kinda dorky even if she was serious, this earned a small chuckle from Rena.
As days goes by, Rena could see how hard Jurina tried her best to appeal to the fans, even though it was clearly in Jurina's nature to be like that but also in Jurina's 755 there was always funny and cheerful reply to her fans.(Rena has been secretly stalking the other Matsui there but we don't really know that do we?)
It impress her how hard she tried but deep inside she's been giving in to Jurina's request because it was her, graduating means that there will only be Masanya left from 1st generation that she can console, Jurina might look like a strong girl outside but inside she is a very sensitive girl and cries easily. There's a lot of pressure from the management as she still have to hold the position in both SKE and AKB team K, Rena seems to can't stop worrying about her. They grew more and more distant, busy with their work but neither of them forgets the promise they did.
Hi this is a my first OS and probably last fanfic and I'm sorry for any misspelling or bad English.
I'll divide it into 2 or 3 parts depending on how lazy I am.

I haven't listened to Rena's ANN yet so I don't really know what she said so I'm making all the things up.
I had the urge to write this fic when I heard Rena-san is graduating. It's not a sad ending but a new beginning for her
so let's continue to support her as an actress!
