Tackey & Tsubasa's Ho! Summer ranked No. 2 on the Oricon Weekly Charts with its first week on the market, with 80592 units sold. For comparisons sake, the weekly chart toppers:
1. Southern All Stars - DIRTY OLD MAN - 132796 units sold (1st Week)
2. Tackey & Tsubasa - Ho! Summer - 80592 units sold (1st Week)
3. ELLEGARDEN - Salamander - 70168 units sold (1st Week)
4. Koda Kumi - 4 hot wave - 37600 units sold (3rd Week)
.
.
7. BoA - KEY OF HEART/DOTCH - 26123 units sold (1st Week)
Quite a bit under Southern All Stars, but still did very well compared to other names like BoA (who I expected some competition from). I don't think the single will be competing with Koda Kumi's lasting power in the coming weeks though, because 4 hot wave is just doing amazing.
However, with a lack of new releases this week, today Ho! Summer sits at No. 5 on the daily charts!
