My favourite was the Horse Armor DLC for Oblivion being sold for twice the price XD

I love the classic EGM ones and the most realistic prank that me and my buddies fell for was Sonic and Tails in Super Smash Brothers Melee where you had to get 20 KOs in cruel melee then they would appear to challenge you and then you would have to beat them afterwards to unlock them. The "screenshot" was pretty convincing too.

Who knew in 6 years it would actually come true lol. Well Sonic at least.
