@fuu_kun: Maybe slightly longer....
@mayuyuXlyukirinlover13: we all do
@abcari: Just too bad she doesn't embrace a lot more
Chapter 11: Nurse’s OfficeClass was battling a bear that was stuck in the room. It roared but it couldn’t figure its way out. The destruction was visible only to my eyes.
“Miyawaki! Are you okay?” The teacher asked as my midsection started to fold over itself.
“Daijoubu…” I moaned seeing the clock tick.
My eyes became fogged looking at the board hoping for the pain to end. I battled until the bell rang for break and I ran out to the infirmary. The blue curtain was around the first bed.
I drew closer to the bed seeing the silhouette of a girl against the sunlight. I reached out grabbing the material in my hand and tugged at it.
The pale canvas was covered with red streaks. White spots barely patched the painting. I turned to see the nurse hovering over me.
“May I rest here?” I asked in a small voice occupying the bed and leaning back to a lounging position.
My throat was a desert hoping for an oasis as she opened the curtain.
“Sakura… I… I mean… Did you see the scars?”
I nodded as she threw her uniform over her body and took a seat next to me.
Chapter 12: Nurse’s Office“You must keep it a secret.”
“Okay.”
“I escaped from a fighting camp. The people after me only know me as Jovijovich.”
“Anya, why did you go there?”
She flashed a smile before running her hand over my cheek.
“I was forced into it after my parents were killed and held me for ransom.”
“You know how to fight?”
“Indeed, that was the only way to survive. They forced you into a club and you fight when they want you to fight.”
My throat became dry again as I looked up at her.
“Before I explain more, I want you to sneak me into the dorms.”
“I can’t do that during school time.”
“Sakura! You need to help me out of here because no one else will take me to the dorms without assistance.”
I nodded and grabbed a laundry cot to sneak her out the back way. The cot was a war to push toward the dorms but it suddenly jolted away from my grip and rode toward the building. My legs burned as I chased after it and lunged forward to drag it back under my control.
“ITAI!”
“Okay, we should be safe for now.”
Chapter 13: Dorm’s Activity RoomI glared at the mixture of dirt and blood while following Anya into the dark room. She flipped the switch and saw a table tennis court folded up in the corner with a bunch of basketballs on a cart. Anya closed the door behind me and let me sit on the stool by the cart.
“I can clean this up.”
She walked over to the sink and grabbed a watering can to fill it up with water. Struggling to carry it over to me, the water poured out creating a puddle on the floor. She dropped the can and ran over to the first aid kit open it up to get antibiotic cream and bandages.
“Gomen.”
She washed area with water rubbing the dirt off the wound with her hand. The fresh pain made me cringe but she kept a calm smile on her face. Once the dirt was off, she applied the cream and wrapped the area with a heavy bandage. I stood feeling my legs wobble below me.
“Thanks.”
“Sakura, I should thank you.”
I wasn’t sure but she wrapped her arms around me and dug her nose into my neck.
“I love you. I wanted to say that since I came here.”
My weight fell back to the wall looking into wide eyes. My heart started to collide with the chest seeing her lips draw closer to mines. The soft lips were perfect on top of mines but feeling her hands on my hips cupping my backside, I had to push her away. She glared back at me before surrendering her hold.
“Gomen! I was too quick.”
“Anya… It isn’t the time to explore yet.” I explained as I leaned onto her to balance my weight.
Chapter 14: RainAnya was strong for a girl.
She held me upright as I guided her to the dorms. The clouds were a light gray covering the sun. The mist brushed our faces before the drops managed to find us. The rain wasn’t selective of its victims dumping the tears from the sky onto us.
“Head to the front door.”
Hearing my command, she let me go on her back and carried me to the area where Sasshi stood seeing the two rain-soaked fools.
“What are you doing here?”
“Oba-chan, she got injured while helping me out.”
“Oba-chan! I’m not that much older than you!” She shrieked as Anya kept her coy smile.
“Gomen… Sakura was injured at school and since no one was available to assist her, I volunteered.”
Sasshi saw the bandage and allowed us in. The mud printed the floor from our shoes but now in the dorm, it felt warm from the weather outside.
“Who are you?” She asked my friend as Anya stood in front of her with her hands clasped in the back.
“I’m Murashige Anna. Nice to meet you.” She introduced herself and bowed.
“You must be in Sakura’s class… Well I’m Sashihara Rino, the dorm leader.”
“Thank you Sashihara-san for your company.”
She gave her a weird look before walking into the kitchen. Anya carried me to the bathroom where I saw her eyes again. The feeling of a person pressing against me grew rampant. Her body pressed up to mine before pressing our lips together.
Chapter 15: Life’s ImageAnya left the bathroom after our kiss and stayed in the living room while I stripped down to shower. I looked at the pink bandage reaching for the soft material. The pain seemed to get to me but I hobbled over letting the bandage soak up the hot water.
My thoughts seemed to be soaked up like the bandage. Everyone will know the truth. How could I hide it? Is there a way to hide it?
The ability to keep it a secret seemed to fill me quickly.
I lathered myself feeling the tingle in my skin for the first time. I wanted scream the truth just to rid of the weight.
Suddenly, there were the bodies around her in my image. She was in deep with her past and to rid of it may require more than love.
The arrows came furious towards me as the defense was wearing thin. I rinsed off and put on my plain clothes to return to the living room where Anya was in a resting position tilting her head to the side, calmly filling the seat.
“I feel something bad about her… She seems rather polite for a high school student.” Sasshi pointed out as I took my seat next to her.
