A "cowardly" Edmonton man who "scalped" his sleeping girlfriend while using a power drill to style her hair avoided being sent to the slammer yesterday.

If he 'wanted to just brush her hair', I'm assuming he's never heard of holding the brush with his hand like everyone else. At least it serves as a good example that brush+power drill=very, very bad.
