"So what?" I started walking away.
"Honestly...if I don't you any better, I'll think that you're pregnant..." she teased,"...you know your cravings for vanilla and your stupid mood swings...."

As usual, I arrived at my classroom late, however the only difference is that, unlike the other days, Ma’am Terror gave me the warmest smile I’ve ever seen in her face for my whole life.
“Please take your seat, Kashiwagi-san…” she said in an angelic voice that never…
AS IN NEVER. I thought she had.
But, the thing is, I’m the only one who’s having this shocked face because all of my classmates’ faces are mirroring Ma’am T’s expression.
I took my seat.
“Okay, I shall continue with my announcement…” she said.
I grinned.
Maybe Ma’am T is resigning that’s why she’s happy thinking that she won’t have to bear with us anymore, and my classmates are happy too, because of the thought that they’ll never see Ma’am T, everyday.

My trains of mean thoughts were interrupted when Ma’am T started to talk with her creepy warm smile.
“As we all know, the Star Room was blown by some explosion.” She grinned.

‘What now!?’ I asked, getting annoyed by my conscience.
My inner battle ceased when I heard Ma’am T’s next words…
“…Because of that, some student of the Star Section will be studying with us until the end of the school year…”
That added information sent my classmates in frenzy.
And if you’re wondering why is that?
All, as in all, of the students in the Star Section are known to be the richest, the prettiest and the smartest students in Shiroame. In short, they are the perfect students. And even though I’m smarter than all of them, except Nezumi, I’m not qualified to be in that section because I don’t even fit in the rich and pretty category.
But if that explosion is enough to make them transfer rooms…just exactly how huge is that explosion!?
Tch… I haven’t seen the rat for quite sometime…don’t tell me- no…that’s impossible…
“You’re worried about nezumi?” black teased.
“I AM NOT!!!”
“You’re still forgetting something…”

“Jurina-san, sit beside Rena-san.”
Rena-chan frowned and looked at Jurina with disgust.

“And…Watanabe-sama…” Ma’am T giggled like a teenager, “Sit beside Yuki…”
…Now I regret ever listening to her.
Nezumi gave me her this-is-interesting-Bakarin smile.
So, ma’am T said that she is happy because she’ll be handling four of the school’s pride.
“tch…as if I’ll believe you.” I murmured, “you’re just happy because you have nezumi to stare at…”
I heard nezumi chuckle quite evilly if you ask me.
She wrote on a piece of paper, then, handed it to me.
“Dear bakarin, it’s not my fault if I’m too beautiful, and I can’t blame your teacher, instead, I’ll say that she have a good preference.” I read the note silently.
This…cursed…rat…
If only this is an anime, I’m probably breathing fire now. And this rat is a roasted rat right now!!!

Nezumi raised her eyebrow, “ we do?”
Jurina just glared at her, as she wrapped her arms around nezumi.
Nezumi just let her and they walked away.

“if you still want your hand to be attached to you…remove it from my shoulder. NOW.” I warned her once we reach the student council.
To have our NON-EXISTENT meeting.
Jurina knows my real attitude. And that explains why I am with her most of the time, though some thinks that we’re a couple.
“hahaha…gomen ne, mayu.” She smiled sheepishly and she removed her arm around me.
“ne..kaichou…you’re too hot-tempered.” She grinned, “…you’re jealous, aren’t you?” she smirked at me.
“wanna die?” I glared at her, “to whom I’ll be jealous at!?”
“…you know…with YukiRena couple.” She mumbled.
“just go to hell. I’m not in love with that Yuki.” I said as I browsed some papers on my table. Just to make myself useful, despite this non-existent waste of time.
“…hmm~~ I’ve never said anything about you being in love with Yukirin~~~” she grinned like a cat.
“why the heck are you calling her YUKIRIN!?” I glared at her.
How dare she call Yuki like that!?

“oh really?” she asked as she sat on her chair, placing her legs on her table. Then, she looked at me, challenging me, “then can you kindly explain, why, THE GREAT CYBORG WATANABE MAYU, IS LATE at the meeting earlier?” she smirked.
“president’s duty.” I said plainly.
“president duty!? In your face watanabe!!!” she mocked me.
“why do you think it’s the otherwise!?” I asked her annoyed.
“let me tell you a story…” she said looking away as if remembering something.
“once upon a time…”
“Come on…”
“…there was a human named watanabe mayu, who was more of a cyborg than a human.” She smirked, “She was sooooo concerned about a girl named kashiwagi Yuki.” She chuckled, “…and she knew that Yuki is always late because of her part-time jobs to support her family. However, since this school doesn’t tolerate tardiness, just one more late, and Yuki will be expelled in this school. And since that WATANABE MAYU, knows that the students are the rules here, she asked for their permission to exempt KASHIWAGI YUKI from the rules. And she did that to save Yuki, that resulted to her being late to the meeting for the first time~~”
I snorted, “… I just don’t want someone to be expelled due to an invalid reason.”
“Oh really? Then how can you explain this?”
“explain what?”
“…that YOU’RE NOT LISTENING during the meeting because you’re busy looking outside the window!? What are you even looking for out there!?
…Yuki and Rena…and they seem to be having a good time.

It was my turn to smirk. Jurina blushed. I went closer to her, sandwiching her between myself and the chair she was sitting at. Luckily that we’re alone or else…it would be awkward..
“…s-stop it…Mayu…”
I decided to play with the blushing girl, “…how can you cheat on me?” I said huskily.
“MAYU!!!” she was redder than a tomato.
“…how about you, why can’t you tell Rena?” I smirked.
She looked away, “…I-I can’t…”
I decided to stop playing around and caressed her cheeks, “…why?” I pressed our foreheads together, hoping that it would give her comfort somehow.
Jurina has been a good friend of mine. And I just can’t stand seeing her hurting like this.
She was about to answer when the door suddenly opened.

Sensei asked me to give some papers to mayu that’s why I went to the student council’s room.

I ran away from her. I don’t why I did, but all I wanted to be is to be away from mayu…

Rena-chan was just looking at us.
Maybe Rena-chan is very confused right now…I’ll just explain it to her later.
I continued to run and she’s still chasing for me. A few more seconds and she’ll reach me now.

I was close to a dead end that’s why I took a sharp turn toward the stairs.
And unfortunately, I didn’t notice the sign.
‘Caution: Slippery.’
I slipped. I closed my eyes waiting to meet the floor.
‘…mayu…you…baka…’
After a few seconds I felt something soft.
It tastes like vanilla…so soft…
Wait!?

My shocked eyes mirrored the ones of the girl under me.
I’m on top of my rival…
And my lips are on hers.
I slapped her on reflex, “curse you watanabe Mayu!!!”
“what the!? How dare you to slap me!?”
“g-give…me back my first kiss!!!” I yelled at her.
“FYI reaction queen, you’re the one on top of me!!! Just think about it, you’ll probably just be a spirit now if I wasn’t there!!!”
Curse her…how come that she’s right!?
Anyways…I’ll never admit that she’s right!!! Over my dead body!!!
I’ve just realized something…
She smirked, “you’ve realized that I’m right?”
“no.”
…I’ve realized that…her lips look so sexy when she smirks…
…it tastes like vanilla too…

I just can’t get enough of vanilla…

The canteen’s manager looked at the inventory. She looked at it with amazement.
“Ne…?” she asked no one in particular.
“Why…did we ran out of vanilla shake?” she asked, “does it sell well today?”
“Actually…” she said, “it’s sales are just average, in fact only two students bought today…”
“who?”
“Kashiwagi-san…and….Watanabe-san.”
