More and more people swam around us.

I can only barely see her at the corner of my eyes.
“With that much of bleeding, that girl probably wouldn’t make it.”

“Good Morning Haruna!”
I went over to hug her.
“Yuko! At least cover your mouth!”
“But there’s only you! No one will see!”
“Ah! Haruna-san! Thank you as usual for picking Yuko!”

“Anyway, do you have any good guy to recommend? I think Yuko need one as she depending on you too much!”
“M-MUM?! W-What are you talking about?!”

Haruna and I are childhood friend.
She’s like a big sister to me since young, well, she always take care of me.
The truth is, actually I’m in love with her.
But I’m afraid of destroying our friendship hence I didn’t confess.

I waved her goodbye.
I dragged my feet to my room.

I placed the squirrel beside my digital clock.
I take a quick look at my digital clock.

“Yuko! It’s 6:30am now!”

I looked at my clock.

“Nevermind about that! I’m going to be late!”

I really do want to see Haruna smile.

Everyday I wake up listening to that sentence.
Since that I have lost count of how many times I’ve relived 8 August.
These days are peaceful and fun.
Even though time has stopped, my feeling continues to grow.
Suddenly a voice appeared in my head.

We both turned our attention to the fast approaching car.

Haruna pushed me away.
I tears as I remembered what happened.
Haruna will die on 9 August for saving my life.
My time stopped at 8 August because I was afraid of waking from the dream.
I’m just running away from the reality.
Reality of Haruna will be gone from my life after 8 August.
“Yuko? What is it that you want to tell me?”
Haruna offered her hand.
“I will tell you, when I woke up from this dream.”
Haruna smiled and hugged me.
“Thank you for everything.”
*Beep Beep Beep*
I opened my eyes and stared at a unfamiliar ceiling.
‘Where am I?’
“Oshima-san?! You are awake!”
“W-Where am I?”
“You are at the hospital!”
“What’s today date?!”
“It’s 9 August!”
“Where’s Haruna? The girl that was involve in the accident with me!”
“She’s not longer here.”
“I will go get the doctor!”
‘Haruna’s really gone…’
‘I should have known, yet I still hoped that I have the chance to tell you personally I love you.’
“Yuko! Thanks god!”
Haruna was hugging me.
‘Is this a dream too?’
“Haruna? How?”
“You got into the accident one year ago.”
“That girl can finally leave the hospital huh?”
“The girl that was being bought to the hospital with her miraculously survived. But the impact was too big for the other girl that’s why she fell into coma!”
“Even if the doctor said that she’s wouldn’t wake up, the other girl still visits her everyday!”
