Author Topic: [DVD] Tackey & Tsubasa Solo Concert DVDs : 16 and 30 August 2006 (Read 8591 times)

Tsubasa's concert DVD was the No. 1 DVD on the Oricon Weekly Charts for this past week. The DVD started to dip in daily position after the first couple days, but it had secured enough sales to ensure the weekly position.

Unfortunately we don't get sales numbers (as far as I know), so exactly how well it did cannot be effectively measured. Too bad, as I was interested in comparing it's sales with Tackey's upcoming concert DVD.

Today, Tsubasa's DVD sits at 7th on the daily charts.

After it's second week on the charts, Tsubasa's concert DVD had a weekly ranking of 8th (and it remains at 8 on the daily charts into this week).

New to the charts, Tackey's DVD is currently on the daily charts at No. 1 (as expected) and should stay there for the remainder of the week. I can't wait to see this one!

Just a small note for those looking forward to a full good quality rip of the T&T solo concert DVDs soon. The T&T fangirls have been appealing to other fans to not make full rips of the DVDs coz they want to push the sales of these items up so hmm... Unless someone just go "blehhh~!!" at them and decides to rip the DVDs, might be a little while more before we get to see the concerts up on DL distribution.

If I had the money, I'd buy them just to rip them and go "Bleh" to those fangirls. :evil:

What? I'm against ripping the DVD's right after their release date too because god that's not the point of the DVD. You know, not all Johnny's concerts get to be released on DVD unlike H!P that releases like everything so it's a fight everytime. If the DVD doesn't sell well enough, they may not release it next time.

Don't expect me to rip the new K8 DVD for anyone either or appreciating people who share it >_> Until like, a half a year after it's release...

Even if HP stuff gets release on DVD alot, it still does not give you an excuse to say that it is ok to release the DVD rip right after the release date. I find this reasoning ridiculous. It is unfair to any artist, not just Johnny's artists.

Uh sorry I didn't mean it like that. What I meant is that H!P fans are used to getting all the releases on the same day it's released and personally I don't think that's okay either. But if someone actually goes and says something against that, it doesn't make them stupid fangirls, it makes them good people saying good things and not something to be laughed at.

I said it like that because from my point of view most of the (at least foreign) H!P fans don't really care if the DVD's are shared right away.

Tsubasa's concert was AMAZING! sigh* his dancing was breath-taking..i may sound overly dramatic..but damn! he's so hot..haha..an his dance moves..did i mention how much I love his dancing? wouldn't it be awesome if he performed with koichi..since those two are such great dancers..i watched them on endless shock..but it was rather weird seeing tsubasa act for some very odd reason..
