Ok, I always knew the japanese were, to put it mildly, "peculiar". But now I start to believe they are downright crazy. According to Japan-Zone:

On other sites they say this is because Tom Cruise has shown an immense love for Japan and it's culture, and he's also the american film star that has visited Japan more frequently, always interacting with his fans.

Tom Cruise is a lucky guy. He gets to jump all over Oprah's couch, he's dating a hot piece of ass who's like 20 years younger than him, plus he's a super high level in that religion with all the cool alien shit and now he's even got his own day.

I really enjoy "the Last Sumurai" film that he did earlier.

Guy seemed to show alot of respect/love of Japanese culture/arts/etcs.. Just to show that those attitudes DOES earn some 'points' when you're dealing with human beings..

~At least i hope that Tom doesn't think himself as an alien decented from the stars that going to save the world yet :mrgreen:
