Six arrested after brawl at WMS

A brawl at Woonsocket Middle School on Monday led to the arrest of two parents and four students after one mother drove her daughter to campus to fight a rival, police said.

damn.. and the comment below the article from another parent from that school.. That place seems insane.
Are there no real consequences for bad behaviour to prevent things from escalating to this level? Probably not. I bet the school's "not allowed" to take action due to whatever moronic policies are in place.

That girl has to be the worst brawler ever.

Witnesses told police the suspended girl’s mother, Ana Rivera, 44, of 241 Park Ave., drove up with her daughter in the car.

First she has to have her mother drive her to the brawl.

At some point the two girls began to fight and Rivera’s daughter was "getting the worse of it," Paul said.

She's losing.

While school officials attempted to break up the fight, Rivera allegedly jumped in the fray and assaulted Santiago’s daughter.

Her mother tries to bail her out.

Witnesses reported Rivera was injured trying to take a box cutter away from her daughter.

She has to pull a weapon, but only manages to wound her own mother.

Santiago also got involved in the fight trying to help her daughter and at some point she allegedly punched Vice Principal Robert Picard in the face.

Meanwhile the other girl's mother is so hardcore she's taking out people who aren't even in the brawl.

I think it's clear who the winner was.
