A Japanese woman charged with inflicting injury on her neighbor by blasting rock music at her house for more than two years was given a 20-month prison term Tuesday, a court official said.

Wtf, that is unbelievable, if was living over in japan i would be in prison quick for my loud music.

I guess two years of it was to much "Noise pollution"

They just wanted som drama so they decide to pick on an innocent woman who loves her music, dang.

This kind of dilemma would'nt affect me 'cause I use my headphones all the time.

Seriously.. if it's really a problem, take care of it quicker?
After a week of that I'd be making sure that music stopped, no matter how I had to go about it.

Under Japanese law, those convicted of inflicting injury on another person face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to 300,000 yen ($2,520).

Well she actually got off light based on this law.

I guess she sorta got what was coming to her. It seems like she did it to purposely annoy her neighbor. I guess she just didn't expect this to happen

I think the "injured" woman has tried lots of things to stop her neighbor, but the neighbor was just being a bitch. And it finally took 2 years for something to actually come out of it.
