Anyone still playing Dissidia? I'm currently playing through Zidane's Destiny Odyssey with 4 remaining. I think it's the best PSP game I have. I virtually play it every day, and the amount of rewards to obtain is so addicting. Best of all, the battles play like the fate of the world is hanging in the balance each time. Love it.

Someone pointed out to me that Dissidia's official website has codes you can enter in-game and obtain new friend cards (I just had to get the Yuffie one :D) as well as some rare recipies and player icons, including some characters from FFXIII. Normally I don't cheat in games at all, and I have no idea if you can unlock these player icons legit through the game, but it's not cheating if it has little impact on how I play the game right? :D

Afraid not, which is a shame because that would have been so good.

Bahumut's in FFXIII, with a funky new design in his Gesalt mode:

Wow! That looks pretty cool! Can't wait to play it when it comes out. Hehehe

I was playing Dissidia a lot, but then took a long break. I think I wore myself out playing it when I first got it. Hahaha!

I should take a look online and get some codes. :D

Someone put up the theme song from Final Fantasy XIII ! It's a radio rip, but it's pretty good!
Here's the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?mz2gxzazjmz

I really like this song, feels so emotional and all !

FFXIII released March 9 in North America

Also, Leona Lewis is contributing a song to the game.

My Hands

Not sure about it. Guess I'll have to wait and see how it fits into the accompanying scene.

Wow that video . . . Reminds me of one of those self help infomercials that come on at 2 in the morning. O_O

Leona Lewis songs all sound like the same song to me but it's a pretty decent song so whatever.

First time I've ever seen a master of ceremonies in a game trailer XD

Something interesting to point out for anyone playing it for the 360. If you are registered to Twitter and send tweets, you can be in line to receive an exclusive Xbox Live item for anyone who registers. More info here

They say an Xbox live item though, so I don't think it's an in-game reward. Probably some avatar clothing or something. Would be nice if your avatar could ride on a chocobo or something XD I would do it but can't, as it's only available to N.American users. :(

If they have collector editions for two FF PSP spinoffs, then you can be damn sure they're gonna have a collectors edition for a new entry to the main series. :) I'm excited to see it, even if it's artwork and a soundtrack, I'd be happy.

Someone overlaid the announced Leona Lewis track to the TGS trailer and I guess you could see it working in the game after all:

TGS Trailer with "My Hands"

Though the Youtube comments make baby Jesus cry. It's either Sony fanboys complaining it's released for the xbox and feel betrayed by SE for not making a FF game exclusive to a Sony console (it's like FF1-VI never existed) or people complaining that one pop song in the game shows how FF has lost it's way and SE sold out, nevermind the fact that the likes of FFX-2 had Koda Kumi. But then I guess it's not from Japan, thus it's not ok.  :banghead:

I think at least they should've use the same song. Think about it, Final Fantasy VIII, IX, X, X-2 and XII all used the same song for both the japanese and international releases. Sure, some times they had to be translated or even performed by someone else, but at least they were the same song used in the original japanese release.

I think that the developers put some effort when choosing this "main song" for the game, because if it were just to promote the game, they would go Kingdom Hearts style, pick Utada Hikaru, one of the most famous and loved Japanese singers and it would be a hit for sure, or just pick Ayumi Hamasaki for a change, or even Koda Kumi again (now she's big but she wasn't that much when FFX-2 was released)

About Dissidia:

I heard a new version of Dissidia will be released in Japan, and you will be able to play online with it.
You need to have a PS3 and connect it with your PSP, then you can use teh Ad-hoc mode to play online. This service is only available in Japan for now, but should come to the rest of the world later.
Now we really can play online, I just need to stop sucking at it now hehe  :P

Japan has 'Kimi ga Irukara' by Sayuri Sugawara on vocals as heard below:

New Trailer with new cinematics and gameplay

The scope of the levels outside of combat is :o :o And if anyone managed to tweet that hashtag on twitter (like me) then you'll be glad to know that the exclusive prize was revealed. It's a chocobo for your 360 avatar!

Just realised that it's only out next month in Japan :o

I'm thinking right now, if I should import the JP version or wait until the EU version comes out and see, if the japanese language is selectable...
