I think at least they should've use the
same song. Think about it, Final Fantasy VIII, IX, X, X-2 and XII all used the same song for both the japanese and international releases. Sure, some times they had to be translated or even performed by someone else, but at least they were the same song used in the original japanese release.
I think that the developers put some effort when choosing this "main song" for the game, because if it were just to promote the game, they would go Kingdom Hearts style, pick Utada Hikaru, one of the most famous and loved Japanese singers and it would be a hit for sure, or just pick Ayumi Hamasaki for a change, or even Koda Kumi again (now she's big but she wasn't that much when FFX-2 was released)
About Dissidia:I heard a new version of Dissidia will be released in Japan, and you will be able to play online with it.
You need to have a PS3 and connect it with your PSP, then you can use teh Ad-hoc mode to play online. This service is only available in Japan for now, but should come to the rest of the world later.
Now we really can play online, I just need to stop sucking at it now hehe
