I loved PL and can't wait for the next one. Any word on what kinds of puzzles there are going to be? Some of the ones like the Princess Escape and the Queens games I really liked.

Imported a game recently from America that I figured I should mention. It's an RPG based in modern-day Tokyo where cool-clothed teenagers have just 7 days to survive against monsters and their own certain doom. Huh? Sound familar? No, it's not The World Ends With You, but a new entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series, Devil Survivor:

Devil Survivor

As far as I know it's a new style of play for the MegaTen series, as it's more of a SRPG than a straight RPG. You control your character's sprites just like in FF Tactics or Disgaea, but the twist here is that your fights play out like an old school, first-person version of Dragon Quest. The battles are quite addicting and the story/cast is interesting enough to keep you playing. Every decision you make affects how much time is spent on the clock, and you only have so many hours to work with in a day, so any decision you make can have an impact on the story and determine the outcome of supposedly several different endings, so there's enough replayability to come back.

Should check it out if anyone's looking for an RPG.

For September, definitely looking forward to Scribblenauts and Kingdom Hearts. Is it odd for me to be looking forward to the next Pokemon series too?

Okami on the DS confirmed. Not sure if it's a port or a sequel though.

Was hoping for a console version though. Hi-def Okami anyone?

WOO peeps this new DS

It's dubbed the "DSi XL", and although Japanese consumers can get their hands on it next month, it won't launch in the US until early 2010. Nintendo of America has yet to announce U.S. pricing, but the machine's expected to be more expensive than the DSi, which will remain on sale at its current $169.99 price.

whaddya think? a larger DS?

Been playing some Henry Hatsworth lately... like a platformer/puzzle hybrid. The boss fights are hilariously original.

Anyone here played Sands of Destruction and Glory of Heracles? What are your opinions of those games?
I venerate ample posteriors and, furthermore, I am unable to fabricate information.
