Even though Miki isn't leader perhaps things will still work out for the hawaii fan's Dj... a little faith...

Its a shock...

And whether she was forced to or not it happened... ther are a million possibilities... she was forced to, or perhaps she tried to push for her freedom and it went too far, or she wanted out, or she didn't think she'd have to do it cause of her age... there could be any combination...and till we get more information all we can do is whatever we are doing... whether its grieving, complaining, being angry or sad...

eitherway... I'm sure there are still many who keep their flags and penlights waving...for Miki and all she is... right?

I don't believe they forced her to quit. This is just like the Yaguchi incident. The group just lost its important member. It needs her more than ever. No reason for the office to do this.

but yeah, I highly, most likley doubt that they would force Miki to leave, especially this early. It's just to critical of a time too.

Ya know we'll never know till Mari or Miki retire from H!P entirely or H!P falls apart and they get free and right their own little autobiographies...hehe, so until then it'll all be conspiracies... but just imagine how many people might buy a book written by them if it had all the inside stuff about musume and the like.

Miki's still Miki, so I don't think they'll get rid of her radio deals... though I can't say that in full confidence... but think of all the letters they'll have to filter through asking her why she quit and if she wanted to.

I wonder if they are making signs for the GAM tour already... Wotas asking why or giving extra support cause she quit... hmm this is one of those cultural things that would be interesting to feel first hand.

I still hope to see her for H!P concerts... singing songs randomly with the musume like the old days... ^^ but I accept that new times are ahead, for both MM and MIKI, so I shall end my posts as I seem to constantly do lately with a shout

Edit: they annouced she's not gonna be in the anniversary concert T_T... I guess thats her punishment?

AHHH!!! this is like the Yaguchi incident all over again. 22y.o., just became leader, have a bf, resigns from MM. but other than MM, miki have GAM and a solo career. i expected this would happen, seems inevitable... but i hope this is ONLY what happens, the worst case scenario. Miki is an important part of H!P, i believe, she is the other half of GAM, to just ended like that seems ridiculous, and a waste. now she can concentrate on GAM more, without having the burden of MM, and could still continue on with her solo career. GOOD LUCK, MIKITTY!!

Concerning this subject, Fujimoto Miki herself had confirmed all the facts, and today has done several appearances. In these appearances, there was much discussion about the way some things have to be in regards of the members of the the group who are underage, from Fujimoto Miki, "for the distinction of myself as leader of Morning Musume, I wish to resign," she had said. Our company has acknowledged this proposal from Fujimoto Miki.

At this time, "Fujimoto Miki" from here on in terms of actions, Last weeks (5/26) performed Tour with Matsuura Aya as the unit "GAM" will be performed as planned. But at the July Concert "Hello!Project 2007 Summer 10th Anniversary Great Thanksgiving ~Haro*Pro Summer Festival~", she will not perform on stage. Please Understand. Furthermore Morning Musume's successor as leader is current subleader "Takahashi Ai" , subleader will be "Niigaki Risa".

heh... as I expect, now it's finally over.

I don't worry too much for Miki as if she goes back as a solo or remain in GAM, she'll still have certain amount of Miki-wota fans. Or if she does quit H!P and UFA, I'm sure other agencies will recruit her in (for example, maybe Avex as Miki auditioned before, or Miki can go on her dream as an enka-singer).

Meh. She never seemed very happy in MM anyway. It's just a shame it had to happen now, having just lost Hitomi and with the pandas coming in. When Mari quit, the group was much larger and better equipped to cover a sudden hole in their roster.

I can't help but being happy for Miki. She has never shown love for MM. Haters and fans, they both love Miki outside of it.

So, finally we'll have a leader that luffs MM. When Takahashi broke her leg or something she returned to the concert.

I no longer have a reason to care about anything MM or H!P anymore.

What is there to look foward to? Miki doing quiz shows for the next 20 years?

Well it had to happen after she confirmed everything, and now it has I am really looking forward the Aichan/Gaki era.

i know this is not the flaming thread, but really miki, could you not have decided on being leader v having a boyfriend before you accepted leadership?

...just cause Miki resigned from MM doesn't mean its over... she's still doing the GAM tour which points she may just continue off with GAM in full power... I don't think you have to abandon everything yet right?...

Ya know even though I don't know everyone here...hearing someone bow out like that makes me sad...

It would be different in a diffierent situation I know... but......

Mixed feelings.
Feels sad not to have Miki anymore.

I think she has been a great MM girl & I'm glad she'll continue with GAM. $:-\$

Also, congrats to Takhashi Ai who I think will make an excellent leader.
