Toddler Attacked By Pit Bull

As reported in The Tonawanda News, a two year old child was attacked by his family pit bull terrier.

When I first read the subject, I thought that some sick pervet was involved, and then the pit bull attack was just a horrible thing to do afterwards...

but this... it's SO weird. I hope the kid is okay and will be when he grows up. That's going to be an odd story to have to explain to him later.

Wow, now you cannot even trust 'man best friend'.  This evil dog needs to be put down.  How can he unlearn this and restraint himself next time.

This is very weird situation. As I'm working in an animal shelter, I see pit bulls are brought in because they bite their owner or someone before, just like what the article said.

But I don't think they should put the dog down like this, totally disagree what nop said above. I hope they will have a follow up story after the Vets did the DNA test. Imagine that the parents are actually the ones that sexually assaulted the kid and then "created" the scene of pit bull attack/sexual assault, then the parents should deserve to die. In fact, right now the parents (i.e. the pit bull owner) should be responsible as well as they didn't take care their kid probably while knowing they have a canine at home.

I genuinely don't understand people that keep these breeds of dogs as a domestic pet. This story reminds me of a very young girl that was killed by her uncle's pit bull. And he thought it was ok to leave her alone in a room with this animal. It just amazes me how owners can be so irresponsible, and it's through their own weakness that stories like this happen.

It is amazing how many people are that irresponsible with dogs and young children, the two just do not mix.
I remember the story of the little girl  being killed by a pit bull. I thought that the dog should have been destroyed.

Off topic: Yeah they were cool too, but I didn't really like their chats. I actually met Mark once while he was still with 99.5. He was at Tysons promoting his book and I got a pic with him and my friends.
