tiff and yuri obviously got some eye work done and jessica got them braces(though I think they all did at one point).
I really don't see how things like that can be so taboo that people don't like to talk about it or even admit it.

Then there's also factors of age, weight, and professional beauticians.

Yuri has really nice skin though.

^^^ That pic is younger than some in the collage but not all though. That was taken in late 2004, which might be the year she got her eyes done, since I've seen some pic from 04 where her eyes looked differently from now. A 12 y/o Yuri is probably the chubby Yuri you can see in T's collage. It's just that she's been looking really young until, like, right before the debut where she started looking mature.

I don't know why the topic is so taboo for some. It's Korean showbiz, c'mon! I think most of them have had things done anyway. Yuri, Hyoyeon and Sunny are pretty obvious (okay, Sunny might not be as obvious since her predebut pics are harder to find), then there are some less obvious girls. Tiff with her eyes? Sometimes I thought nose too, but nose is tricky. It's about makeup and lighting and stuff too. Like with Yuri, her nose look pointy in this photoshoot, then not so much the next, because the lightings are different (oh, I still insist on her never had a nosejob). Then there's Yoona with her chin, I think. There are some old modelling pics... Jess, I don't know if it was just braces or she got it done too.

This topic is actually kinda fun.

I don't see anything wrong at all in it as long as they look natural. Which they do. It'd be a bit boring, if i may use that expression, if they all looked like mini Hyori's but they don't do. So whatabout some eyelid surgery and a nose job. It's no big thing and not unusual for that matter either. Plus our gurls look purdier. Can't hate on that.

I do see something wrong about it (but I don´t really care at all). If some girls have gone through surgery before 18 (so they probably could think surgery is a good or easy way of improving your apareance) ...what´s going to happen when they are 28? and 38? and 48?

Yeah. But I think it's okay for eyes? Not like you can grow there, I think. Nose is a bit dangerous since it grows as you grow older. But maybe they do it case by case. Someone like Sunny and Hyoyeon are pretty small, so maybe they stopped growing at young ages, so it's not that dangerous?

NEWS : TAEYEON Almost didn't debut as a member of SNSD.

Taeyeon, the leader of the popular female group SNSD, revealed an incident that happened during her
trainee days.

On KBS 2TV's 'Star Golden Bell' that will be aired on March 1st, Taeyeon mentioned that she ran away
because she was tired of the hard training before debut and also said "there was a member within SNSD
that vanished before debut." She then went on and surprised all the guests on the show when she
revealed that it was herself.

Taeyeon said that during her trainee days, she moved up to Seoul from the country side. But she secretly
sneaked out of her dorm and went back home because of the tough practices and training. Tiffany, who
appeared on the show together, said, "At that time, I was roommates with Taeyeon and I was surprised
when I came into the room and saw that all of Taeyeon's belongings were cleaned out."
