I didn't know GT had a Budweiser chant.

I never heard of Bubble Bobble but I used to love Bust a Move which I think has the same little dino characters.

I heard Taeyeon will be at the big Idol show, at least for the dance. But it looks like that's the only special that will have all of them. -_- The crotch grab is mandatory but I wonder if they will do the smooth criminal lean for the dance battle. Their shoes don't look like they have the notches in em to do it so I kinda doubt it.

I know that the Ramyun jingle is from somewhere else, I just really wanted to make a Budweiser Generation joke.

I do love ITNW so much, it really is their best dance so far. Catchy 'syndrome'-able dances are all find and dandy, but watching the INTW moves going at breakneck pace in sync, while still maintaining the soaring feel of that song, is breathtaking. However, performing in hoodies can NOT have been fun and I sympathize. Hell just standing on stage wearing hoodies is hell, unless they have an amazing air conditioning system.
Wow, Yuri must have like a six pack or something, to be able to sing while pulling that wave.
[fangirl drool] So many factors, like the screaming crowd in 110% support, the additional experience/confidence, the reverb

, all came together to imbue the performance with energy I usually only saw in remix perfs. Yes, they took out the breakdown at the end, but the presence of SNSD was so tangible they didn't need to. Just simply stepping up was compelling enough. And that is the sign of stardom.[/drool]
But damn, you can see them remembering the breakdown in the practice room!

Speaking of which, practice room was great.

Although, kind of wondering what's up with the new Dance Trio. [noembed][/noembed], but is it just due to schedule that YoonA isn't taking the solo dance sections anymore? Happened with Sorry Sorry as well.

So, I got about a minute into Gee before I was like, "Yeah, file this with Love Machine and Special Generation." Oh wait, I never really like LM in the first place. Okay, file it with SG, reopen in about 2 years.

Gotta say I liked the MJ performance 100 times more than the sorry sorry one
maybe cuz I already see them dancing sorry2 like 3 or 4 times

the girls were awesome , even the other artist got excited lol
needed to watch the vid 3 times cuz my attention gets easily stolen by Yuri

That moonwalk was legendary!

Sunny and Soehyun did a great job. I would have never thought Seohyun would be chosen for a dance battle. Seems like the old dance team from around debut was Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, Jessica, Sooyoung and sometimes Taeyeon but Yoona, Tae and Jessica are always busy now . . . .

Anyway they definitely had the most complex choreography and the best perf of star dance battle once again, just like the last time they were on.

Just too bad they all couldn't be there. Would have been cool to see all 9 do the moonwalk.

I gotta give props to Sunny too. She freaking beat Park Jung ah who used to own on X-Man and put up a great battle against crazy Chae yeong.

091004 SNSD Cut @ Star Dance Battle

Seeing ITNW again was awesome

but what was with the goofy Gee outfits? I thought the skinny jeans were a requirement for that. They weren't even bunny outfits more like weird bow tie things. Oh well, at least they were cute and the dance break on that show was hot too.

As much as I love seeing them all together, I gotta say that it might be better to have just the selected members doing the dances

. I wonder how many days they had to practice this. These 5 probably never walked and just moonwalked around their dorm during those days

. I know that Moonwalk isn't that hard (I can't do it though), but it still surprised the hell outta me when I saw it. I was cheering so hard, it was like watching someone making a 3-pointer in the last second. And at the end, it was like a sumo bout where the yokozuna just got beaten, you got cushions flying everywhere

. EPIC. The guys were crazy about them too. Boom was like game over, Jo Kwon came right to Sunny hugging her and I saw Taewoo fanning Yuri, so cute

The wrestling was fun! I think maybe people underestimated Sunny a bit coz she was small. Well, she has a lower center of gravity and that's an advantage, and she's definitely not weak. Surprised me a bit that she could hung in there for a long time. Chaeyeong's leg trip was great.
