So, I still totally love this song. It's so catchy and just what I wanted to hear from Momusu. Even the cheesy guitar solo (which seems to be frequent) wasn't horrid! AND OH MY GOSH IS THAT SAYUMI I HEAR!?

I can not wait for this to be released!

energetic song! I think they need a single like this after a string of serious toned songs.
But still too much of AiT. She should focus more on her leader role and leave the singing to the rest.

Yeah, I haven't been writing about this release yet but I LOVE IT! The best single since forever for MM!
All their latest have been so great in diffrent ways

First Aruiteru which is a calm song but perfect for MM, then Egao YES Nude which has a little old style thing in it which makes it awesome! Kanashimi Twilight was the first REAL poprock song, sooo great. Onna ni Sachi Are an advanced masterpiece of greatness. The few singles before that was good but not GREAT like these have been.

And Mikan is simple in a way, sure, but I think it's just what MM needed now, a little simpler although fun song. GO MORNING MUSUME!

I haven´t heard Mikan yet!! but I agree with Anton_91 about their latest singles!!
I don´t like to listen radio rips!! I prefer wait for the PV!!

Yes, it is the opening song for the concert tour, and the tour is also named "Bonkyu Bonkyu BOMB"

After all the meaning of mikan is "mandarin".

Tsunku has some weird description of it which includes a TV, kotatsu and mandarin.

The title is supposed to describe the song as something "natural", like a mandarin, and not manufactured like a kotatsu or TV.

Meh! I really dislike the song. I'm starting to think Tsunku has a mental deficiency.
This sounds exactly like an anime theme. He obviously thinks that producing something that sounds like a Koharu Kusumi solo song will somehow magically make it sell as much as Koharu.
He doesn't realize that the main reason that Koharu is selling so much is simply because she's connected to the anime. That's all. What's going to happen is that this is going to sell as much (or as least) as other Morning Musume singles, if not less, and then he's realize the err of his ways.

Just checked it on on youtube and I ain't gonna be rash with my judgements. I don't instantly love it like I did with the Kanashimi Twilight but then I wasn't too keen on Onna ni Sachi Are until I'd listened to it a good number of times so hopefully this will grow on me too. I certainly don't dislike it but it ain't amazing either, I reckon if I stuck it on iTunes now it'd get 3 stars lol.
