^ Apparently, that is Piccolo pre-green. Reportedly he um, evolves, into a Namekian.

Seems like there's re-shoots for the movie, so the release date is pushed back a bit.

I really do not see the need for a movie like this...the same with the live action of evangelion, astro boy and future projects...

I might give it the benefit of the doubt, but judging by the pics, it doesn't look like DB at all to me so far, and he doesn't look like a Goku at all

Why does Hollywood have such a problem being true to good original stories?

you know... it's gonna end up in the way that Japanese people get piss off from this movie, then Akira Toriyama will call the characters in Hollywood DB with different names than the original (just like Godzilla vs. Zilla, in this case will be Goku vs. Ku).

Maybe then we will see a Japanese movie of "Real DB vs. Fake DB" and have Goku kill Ku!!!

What's wrong with gohan's looks? He looks exactly as he does in the anime....dorky xD

If you compare the fanmade dragon ball scene with the Dragon Ball movie, the fanmade one is 10 times better xD. I thought it would look bad to have live action, but that fanmade one did a decent job.
