from Sousenkyo Guide Book Takamina said she didn't have much hesitation on announcing her candidacy this year.

Taka: I don't want ppl to think AKB's pace has fallen due to Yuko's graduation. As a senior, I feel it is my obligation towards Yuko & AKB.

She also says that she has started to see AKB events as "creating memories" w/ members & fans but insists that it is not a "graduation flag"
