^ Think those exact gifs might be from the 2nd vid linked here, these were a series of Visual Web Young Sunday videos (which had accompanying photoshoots) from a year or two ago:










My favourite was always the one where Mayu and Yuko were hugging - and Mayu looked a bit scared of Yuko.... however, after quickly flicking through these four, I can't find that bit - only Mayu hugging Yui (in week 2) and Mayu hugging Yukirin (in week 4)... so maybe the Mayu-Yuko hugging vid was a different series, as these ones are marked Volume 489.

And she has left a legacy to the other girls- Yuko set a standard that would be very difficult to meet,
But in trying to reach Yuko's standards, the other girls will find strengths they never knew they had.

It was looming that she was going to graduate and I give her all the luck in the world.  I mean also be the ultimate jack of all trades.  I felt that she has reached the pinnacle and let someone or a group of them shine.  Eventually the big footprint will be filled but it won't be the same without the antics of the perverted squirrel

Oshima Yuko is the only reason left for me to keep up about AKB. Now that she confirms graduation, I hereby graduate as an AKB fan as well.

Starting with more congratulations

2013 ended with my sudden graduation announcement I need to put an end to the stir [its created]

Concerning AKB48 and myself The Kouhaku Uta Gassen represented an Akihabara idol group instead of AKB48 at first reffered to as AKihabara48 [a group that] aspired to be very important and worthy of notice and these memories are packed into this place.

Being such an important place I think it was fitting that from such an important place I had the farewell privilige of announcing my graduation at the The Kouhaku Uta Gassen

To graduate AKB and be allowed to appear at the Kouhaku was an oppertunity I wouldn’t have had. (she had to announce her graduation at the end of the Kouhaku or she wouldn’t have been able to perform there)

So After graduation I get the chance and have the time to meet my steadily piling up dreams

In 5 days the actress Yuko Oshima will be reffered to in the role of a judge…

Since the time of my graduation is not yet clear As soon as it is decided I will report immediatly!

I want to meet all the fans soon and see their faces I like standing on the AKB stage and enjoy my time with AKB members

But I want to take the next step and I strongly think that there is posibility for AKB to advance further and I have to step up at this point in order for AKB to advance

The members now must shoulder this resposibility

Before now alot of members have graduated

respectivly well timed AKB graduations

this has stayed on my mind

you can either choose the easy road or the hard road

You choose the thorny path

This is what Akimoto sensei says

All the people who have suceeded in the group have taken the thorny path

All members who have graduated up to now have decided their [path]

I think that despite the environment changing everyones thoughts and beliefs remain the same, I want to go on to a new stage

The last part may be a little shakey (I was a little shakey writing it to be honest) As you can see Yuko has not yet decided the exact date of her graduation but will tell us when she does!
