i bought a psp last week, modded it- LOVE IT. loaded emulators, loving the PS1 EMU. loaded BUST A MOVE, BUST A MOVE 2 (dancing game, not the puzzle game crap), final fantasy 7, and final fantasy 8. downloaded about 30-40 games, lost track. one of the best purchases i've made in my life- and as for as video entertainment goes, i'm in a bliss. loaded my mem card with H!P vids, movies. best invention ever. thank you psp hackers!

I use my psp alot I guess, so now my joystick getting stuck here and there. What is the proper way to get it fixed. is there anything I could do I do I have to spend money and take it out for repair?

and btw, what kind of mods can I do and use on my PSP?

Software mods or hardware mods?

Thumbstick...depending on how severe the stickiness is, you can open up the case and replace it with a new one.

better make sure you get an older model version if you want to hack it. The newest ones and the last models of the flat version have new motherboards that aren't hackable in any currently know way.

^-- you serious D:....I really like the slim PSP's though...The older psp's are a little bulky but I guess I might as well. I mean it'll be easier on my bank if i could just hack my psp and dl games and crap =T

^ go for em PSP-2000's/Slim and Lite. They have the same dimensions as the new PSP-3000 except they're hackable

Best if you would ask the store what type of PSP they're selling. I'm not sure if you can determine the type with just the stickers on the box.

Well that's not completely true. I think the very late models of the slim also had the "unhackable" mobos.

So if you have a G or later letter on your boxcode for the psp, you probably won't be able to hack it.

I just put this really nice Legend of Zelda Theme on my PSP Slim.

I actually used the wall paper of this theme. The whole theme wasn't great itself. The sub catergory icons under the main icons were the original PSP ones, so I had to ditch that.

This was a great theme, but I'm only using the icons of this theme. The person did a fantastic job with the sub catergory and main icons. There was even an icon for the TV catergory (I have a JPN PSP) that the first theme didn't have. I was going back and forth for minutes deciding if I should go with this complete theme or use the wall paper of the first theme with the icons of this one.

The 3000 has the built-in mic though, so there's a trade-off.
