These figures are known Oricon index numbers.

Two points:
(A) Approximate real sales numbers for H!P artists can be calculated by multiplying the Oricon index number by 1.75.
(B) My current theory is that half of the first week sales are obtained on the first day (caused by pre-orders and reservations etc).
Combining (A) and (B) gives very rough estimate first week sales of 9,484 * 1.75 * 2 = 33K (rounded to the nearest 1K).
