I must admit I got over-Koda'd this year. The 12 singles were awesome, and Koi no Tsubomi pwnd them, which makes it awesomex13. Then the quadruple single was so fucked up, didn't like it too much. The Futari de and the other song with it were acceptable. I loved them, but too much versions made me get bored of it. The last single seems ok on the first listens, but then also fails. Overall, the only Kumi song that is still on my playlist is Koi no Tsubomi. I hope she has a more paused year in 2007 and that she takes out more cutesy

I recently got the "Black Cherry" album. I got to admit many of the songs were okay.
Almost the whole album had her previous single in there. Which is not a bad thing but listening to it too much might be.
The songs that I love her from the album are "夢のうた", "Cherry Girl", "運命", "WON'T BE LONG ~Red Cherry Version", and "月と太陽".
It's too bad they didn't have "ふたりで．．．" in the album.
hmm... I wonder why?

Another BEST album? WTF dude. I'm definetly not buying this shit. I already own her previous BEST albums which I thought was a good buy because I didn't buy the singles and the album also came with a cool DVD.
The new BEST album looks like some random songs where picked from her other albums and thrown in with one or more new songs. What a rip off. And not too long after Black Cherry was released too.

She has had the best management I've seen in all my life. Since her 4th album was a success, then a BEST, and the 12 singles, then a cutesy one, and a BEST with the 12 singles, a 4 a-side single, a new album about to sell a million, and now another BEST. We're on the third year since she's on the spotligh and they keep squeezing her. Amazing.

C'mon guys, everyone knows they're milking Kumi while she's hot. At least they're smart enough to add a new song to make it *worth buying*. It's a limited edition release as well, so it's targeted at die hard fans. I wouldn't buy it even if I was one, but oh well. The cover looks yummy anyway

With all the decreasing sales avex just goes for easiest way to make munneys - best of compilations, no big deal ^^;

So this year Avex has also released (or going to release) BEST albums for dream, Otsuka Ai, ELT (ballad album) and Ayumi Hamasaki just a few months into the new year. Oh and Janne Da Arc too. Wonder whats next....

Super HOT album cover. Of course I had to breakdown and buy it. ;;;; I swear.. Kuu fans should def be able to write off these crazy purchases as a deductable this tax season. lol

I really do love her ballads though.. I'm hoping this picks off some tracks from her first three albums (as I don't own them ^^;;;; and really have no interest to). The concept of a ballad (best) packaged with music videos of her dance tracks is.. interesting.
